Could be great but depends on what you're planning
Ok, first - what I like about this. It is a VERY nice-looking tank. The corners are rounded which always just makes things look nicer. The included kit is not bad either for the most part for the animals I would put in it. And all in all this could make for an amazing little setup. Honestly, if you did this for some little vampire crabs this would be really really cool!!! However, (what I'm not crazy about) - this is not a setup I would trust with a turtle. There is no pump to push water through the filtering system. If you know your naturalistic terrariums well enough you COULD make this work without a pump. But I personally don't know many turtle keepers that would get this setup. It's small for most turtles and in reality - ANY turtle that lives in water is polluting that water often. If you added a small motorized filter that would help a LOT with this. Just another filter that makes the water move would make it a lot better for a turtle. But - you would really need to research and find a very small turtle. This is not big enough for most turtles. Ironically, they don't mention newts or salamanders and I think this could be adjusted to satisfy both pretty well, and they don't get too big for this. Overall, I LOVE this for crabs, newts, certain smaller land toads, etc. But I would NOT recommend this for a turtle.
