BaubleBarPisa Necklace

Let me start by saying I am old enough to remember yearning for bead necklaces like this in the 80s and 90s. Back then, they were 14K and cost a fortune, and the beads were thin and hollow and could be easily crushed. I have seen these coming back and was hoping to find a more affordable option. I am absolutely thrilled with this Baublebar Pisa bead necklace! I ordered the 4mm beads, as I generally prefer a more petite style, rather than a large statement piece. It is gorgeous. The beads are tightly strung, so I can't tell what they are strung on, but the necklace is beautifully made and the gold tone looks real. These beads are solid metal, so they can't be crushed like hollow gold beads could. It has an extender with three different length options that are about one inch apart, so I can make this work with pretty much all of my gold necklaces for layering. Because the necklace is thicker, it doesn't tangle with my other layers like thin chains can. It also looks gorgeous all on its own. It has a Baublebar logo charm on the extender as well. It is a superb quality piece. I really could not love it more. It is already the new go-to in my jewelry box!

This Pisa Necklace did not disappoint! I chose the bigger 6MM size, and I am so happy that I did! It is of substantial weight, and the gold is lovely. This is set at a great price, and looks more expensive than it is. It is rare that you will find nice quality jewelry at this lower price point. Great necklace that would also make a wonderful gift! This BaubleBar necklace has a surprisingly substantial weight and feels like a quality piece from the moment you pick it up. The yellow gold color is nice and not brassy and the beads are very smooth and feel nice against my skin. The necklace is not too heavy to wear and I quickly forget that I’m wearing it because it’s so comfortable to wear. It would layer nicely in a stack with other thinner necklaces and lighter weight chains. Overall, I am very pleasantly surprised at the impression of quality that this piece gives for the price. I am hopeful that it will hold up well over time and will update my review if that’s not the case.

This necklace is cute, but I wish the material was nicer. It reminds me of fancier costume jewelry. It is simple, delicate, and lightweight. It feels comfortable around the neck, I just wish the quality was better.

I put this necklace on the minute it arrived and wore it the remainder of the day. It has a nice weight to it and a lovely realistic shiny gold color. I love that the necklace has built in adjustability. It will look great with casual, everyday wear and all dressed up for the holidays. Speaking of the holidays, this necklace would be a great gift, however, as with other BaubleBar items I have received, you'll need to provide your own jewelry/gift box. I'll update this review if I have issues with tarnish or durability. So far, highly recommended.

Heavy brass ball necklace looks like a million bucks on me.It can be worn from 17 to 19-inches.Easy to put on without looking due to the larger clasp.I ordered the 4mm balls vs the larger version at, my daughter’s urging.I have big hair and a larger skull so she insisted I go small ball.The smaller version is ideal for a more casual, everyday look.Timeless addition to my jewelry collection.

This necklace is too heavy to wear comfortably. Tarnishes in a matter of days. It looks nice on for a coup days until it starts to turn different ugly colors.
