I bought these as they were advertised to be from Tibet, That may be, but they are simply plastic beads. Nothing special, even though they are very pretty, they are still simply plastic based beads. I wouldn't recommend using them with an acetone based glue as it leaves a cloudy look on t. I work with lot's of beads hem. Still the blue & white ones are pretty & plastic c beads are very easy to spot & wouldn't try to pass them off as a glass type or hand blown beads, they aren't .
