The sound quality is clear and professional, and the mic clips on securely while staying comfortable to wear. It’s very compact, lightweight, and easy to carry around, especially with the charging case. Setup is quick and simple, and it works straight away without any issues. The size is small and discreet, and the audio stays clean with minimal background noise.

I’ve been using these since launch day for my vlogs (paired with the Osmo Action 4) and honestly, the recording quality is superb. If you are filming outdoors, the noise cancelling is spot on; it handles wind noise better than almost anything else I’ve tried. I’ve even used these in a professional setting for interviews and the audio has never let me down. The battery life goes on for ages, and the charging case is a nice bonus to keep you topped up throughout the day. The range is great IF you are using the receiver. The direct Bluetooth connection is pretty limited so use the RX to be safe. One massive tip: As soon as you get them, connect them to your phone and run the firmware update on the DJI Mimo app. I had a few connectivity niggles at the start, but the update fixed them instantly. I recently bought the DJI Mic 3 setup to run 4 mics at once, but I still find myself grabbing these Minis more often just because they are so easy to use. 5 stars.

Excellent quality mic, easy to pair with the TX and it pairs with my DJI Action 4 without the separate TX. Clips onto my motorbike helmet chin curtain with the little magnet. It remembers the pairing so you can turn the Action 4 off and back on again and it'll reconnect almost instantly. Battery life is great, just wish you could charge without the dock but I guess that design is to reduce the size by eliminating a USB-C port. Sound quality seems excellent for its size. For the price of about £50 you can't go wrong. Even has a nice little bag to keep it all together. Tested the TX with my Fuji X-T4 and it works great with that. The TX clips on the hot shoe and cable goes into the 3.5mm jack. Auto level works well too. Although I found there is sometimes still some clipping when used in motorbike helmet even at the max of - 12dB.

The build quality and operational side of this microphone set is very good. All the components seem well-made and the product is just generally very well designed. It fits in the case very well - including the wind muffs and cable, which is very convenient and helps with items not getting lost. The audio quality is really quite good for the cost of this set. It's not that expensive and gives perfectly acceptable results. The signal/noise isn't amazing and the gain on the receiver really does need to be set at +6db/+12db or the digital noise breakthrough is quite audible on quiet recordings. The thing that sets this apart from all of the similarly priced competition is that it records genuine stereo through both the 3.5mm jack and the usb-c connection. If this doesn't feature or isn't important in your work-flow then the hollyland m2 is a slightly cheaper option but doesn't record stereo - except when used with the 3.5mm connection. Overall this is a well made very capable product that is slightly spoilt by the digital noise at the lowest gain levels.

I bought the 1 TX + 1 RX kit because I mostly film solo vlogs and didn't need a bulky setup. This thing is tiny—I honestly forget I'm wearing it. The audio quality is a massive step up from any built-in phone or camera mic, sounding much richer and more professional. Pros: Size: It’s roughly the size of a postage stamp and incredibly light (doesn't sag my shirt). Battery: Lasts nearly 12 hours on a single charge, which is insane for something this small. Ease of Use: Truly plug-and-play. I plugged the receiver into my phone, and it was ready instantly. Highly recommend for TikTok/Reels creators who want better audio without the "pro" price tag.

The DJI Mic Mini really impressed me. The build quality and included accessories are superb, and everything feels premium. Sound quality is excellent for such a small wireless mic, with clear and reliable audio. It’s very easy to use straight away and extremely portable. I chose the kit with the receiver because it’s convenient to carry and works perfectly with my phone. A nice touch is the option to turn off the LEDs, which I really appreciate when recording videos. Note that iPhones below the iPhone 15 require a Lightning adapter (around £17), so factor that into the total cost. A great balance of quality, usability and portability.

Great little mics. I use the dead cat cover inside to reduce the pop and hiss sound. Works brilliantly outside in an Irish storm - and we have had a few lately! The only thing I don't like is that sometimes it just stops working and when I've recorded it comes out silent. Could be my fault for expecting too much or not noticing that the green light is not on. This happens even after just a short 10 min stint of talking. Otherwise love it, and the carry case is excellent.
