I bought this set because I like to make cakes at home and want to learn how to pipe designs. I am not good at piping so my picture does not represent what could be accomplished with these tips; however, there is a great variety of tips that I suppose you could make almost any pattern with. I am hoping to practice with these and gain some skills but didn't want to spend a ton of money on something I wouldn't use very often so these are perfect. The tips seemed maybe a little thinner than others I have used before, but they were strong enough, and I have no complaints. I didn't use the piping bag that comes with the set because I hate cleaning out the bags, so I bought a package of 100 disposable piping bags separately and used those instead. I do like that this set comes with everything you need to get started. It even comes with a cleaning brush and a rubber band to tie off the top of the bag so your frosting doesn't pop out the top and all over your hand. If you are a professional baker looking for something for your business, I would probably look for a higher quality, name-brand set. If you are a home baker like me that makes cakes occasionally for fun, this set is a great value.

Just in time for the Christmas baking season and beyond. This is a fabulous kit for the money. Combined with a Piping Guide Practice Sheet we also got, there we will definitely be picking up our game this year. A wide variety of tips means endless possibilities. The detachable coupler (great idea) makes it easy to switch tips without having to change bags (saves time, icing and MESSES). The frosting is my favorite part, so I'm especially looking forward to all the new designs/decor we'll see this season and next.

I'll be giving this to more of a baker as a gift, I don't eat a lot of cakes and cookies now a days due to weight and health concerns. I do know some people who will lover this, it has an impressive array of fittings and all you need to work with. I mostly use canned icing myself, so this would be better with an icing mix so you can more easily make a thinner mix to be squeezed out. A good fit for the holiday baker's kitchen accessory drawer. Smaller package than I'd imagined, so finding room should not be a problem. Recommended.

As a previous professional baker and a current at home baker I have used a vast variety of piping tips over the years. This set really does have every tip you could ever need to create any masterpiece either at home or in the bakery. The reusable bag and clips are great actually of really great quality and the tips have held up to several hand washings and runs through the dishwasher. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

48 stainless steel piping tips of sturdy/durable quality, a large pipping 5.5" needle, rubber band, coupler, and a cleaning brush. The reusable piping bag will withstand many uses, just be careful on grip and pressure or even the best bag will burst if held incorrectly. I'd say and excellent to middle of the road decorator. Professional would want to upgrade bag and size of tips for a commercial set for large work.
