It kind of stinks you have to buy this separately but it isn’t outrageously expensive at least. I like a lot how the charge case has a little slot for it so you don’t have to put it somewhere you’ll lose it. It slots right in. The connection is strong. It worked perfectly on an iPhone 14. I like how securely it connects to the receiver and slides off without effort while staying secure. It’s not wobbly or anything. Sound quality feels equal to the USB C counterpart. It’s smartly designed and compatible with my iPhones I’ve tested it with.

This adapter works exactly as expected and connects quickly to my iPhone. Setup is simple—just plug it in and it’s ready to use with the DJI Mic Mini system. The connection is stable, and the audio quality remains clear and reliable during recordings.

Oh! This is so efficient. I love the plug and play ability. I did try using Bluetooth with the Dji mic mini and it just wasn't sounding right. The adapter just makes the sound quality top notch. no need for connection hassles, it instantly recognizes the receiver and the battery of the transmitter lasts throughout my filming.
