I've been a loyal customer of SanDisk for quite some time now, and the SanDisk Extreme 2TB portable NVMe SSD continues to impress me with its exceptional performance and reliability. This is actually my third purchase of this fantastic device, and I felt compelled to share my positive experience.First and foremost, the speed of this SSD is simply mind-blowing. A small storage device which got for storing large dvds (previously recorded in vro format) converted to mp4. Speady transfers, especially with good software package.Playback quality really good (visual and sound). The compact size means fits in palm of small hands. Have found no issues with device usage, recognised on Win laptops, connection to Apple phone and televisions, all powered by source device

Big enough to support multiple backups of all my data and small (tiny) enough to tuck into a drawer by my computer. Being solid state, it's silent. Runs flawlessly off my USB 3 port though (perhaps because of small file sizes) it seldom reaches the stated (up to) 800MB/s. It is fast enough to satisfy my needs.

This is a brilliant, hard drive with wonderful speeds and his wonderful portable.I would definitely recommend and plan to buy more of these in the future. They are a bit pricey. However, I have a lot of SanDisk SD cards and they seem to be a brand. I can trust when it comes to memory. So I’m assuming this hard drive has the same quality as the SD cards so for peace of mind don’t look at the alternative for a cheaper price just buy this one.Full disclaimer I bought this product when it was on discount. Which made the value to quality proposition out of this world.

This SanDisk 2TB SSD is like a tiny vault for all my important files – small enough to slip into my pocket but tough enough to survive the apocalypse (or at least a bit of dust and drizzle). The read and write speeds are good, nothing not super fast but does the job.I use it mainly for backups, and it gives me peace of mind knowing my files are safer than a samosa in my hands. It’s sturdy, reliable, and ready for anything – a cracking bit of kit that does exactly what it says on the tin.

I’ve been using the SanDisk SSD’s for a while now with Blackmagic Designs 6K and 6K Pro Cinema Cameras. They’ve performed flawlessly on every shoot so far. I always shoot BRAW these days and though I’ll rarely shoot at 3:1 compression, I tend to shoot all my interviews at 6K with 5:1 compression. I’ve never had a dropped frame, never had a drive fail (other brands I’ve used have hit these problems after a few hours operation) and the transfer speeds are superb. They’re even thin enough to fit inside the SSD compartment on the SmallRig 6KPro cage. Though they do rattle about. Maybe add a little padding to hold it in place. All in all, I’d highly recommend these as part of your Blackmagic camera kit.
