DEWALT DXCM024-0345 Hose Reel Automatic Retraction Enclosed Air Hose Reel

This is my 3rd or 4th air hose reel I have purchased and only wished I had known about this one a long time ago.This is the 1st one to have a guide for the hose to ensure that it winds properly. All others would bind and force me to try and push the hose back in.During colder days, the material of the hose is still pliable enough that it reels in properly. The others, the cold would make them almost as hard as a rock.Only issue is that you need to make sure where your going to pull it from. I have mine setting on the front wall of my garage and it's perfect. I originally installed it to the ceiling, but it didn't come out like I wanted.

Great product had it for a while now works great. Other than when I received it about a month into it. The hose clamp on the hose on the inside of the real came off and burn by compressor so be sure to check your hose clamp.

So much easier to not have to hand coil air hose and is so convenient to only use the amount of hose needed. I installed it on the wall above the compressor easily. You do have to be careful rewinding it or it can jamb. But as long as yo don't just jerk it and then release it, I have no problem.

Husband was super excited for this Christmas present but as we opened it the casing was cracked (where it says dewalt on the side). We returned it and are purchasing the one without the casing as it seemed like the cracking will be likely to happen with the design of the product.

The hose guide is not strong enough to guide the hose in to the reel. It stops at the edge and the hose reels on top of itself and you end up pushing the guide and hose by hand to get it back in the reel.

I just got done installing the retractable air reel and I would say it exceeded my expectations.It looks well built and it has rollers for retracting the reel so it rewinds evenly.To install it I put a 2by 6 on the wall first and then used 5/16 lag bolts 2 and 1/2 inches long to screw on the base.That seemed to be strong enough.Use plenty of screws to fasten your 2by 6 or 2by 4 on the wall.It is heavy enough to need a sturdy board to fasten it.I would recomend this to anybody.

No complaints so far. I've had it for several months. I bought this for my home garage. It is mounted on a wall. So far the mount has proven to be sturdy and the retractor seems to work great. I've not yet had a premature snap back. I honestly do not recall if it came with screws, I do recall fishing for a large sturdy screws. If it came with screws, I was not comfortable with uses them.

Great quality reel. It was very easy to attach to my garage. Great price on a Dewalt tool. I use it daily! I had another brand and this one by far is better!

Al ver que la manguera que utilizo actualmente empezó a agrietarse exteriormente aunque todavía sirve muy bien consideré el hecho de reemplazarla, aproveché que en el recién pasado Amazon Day tenía un buen preció y la compré, cuando la recibí observé que tanto la caja de envío de Amazon como la original estaban maltratadas y por un momento pensé que el porta manguera tendría algún daño pero no fue así, la revisé y probé varias veces que el mecanismo de retención funcionara y no hubo problema alguno, funciona muy bien y estoy satisfecho por la compra, la manguera es muy flexible, nada que ver la que tengo que es muy rígida y estoy muy satisfecho por la compra. La recomiendo ampliamente. Actualmente estoy fabricando un soporte para instalarla sobre mi compresor Dewalt, una vez que lo termine compartiré una imagen de cómo quedó.

Fittings are sealed well. Retracter lock works much better than my previous brand.

Bought it as a fathers day present, and it was been working great for a few months now.
