This is a excellent light, it clips onto my tray when I'm doing my crosstich & casts a brilliant light on my work. With the clip it has numerous uses & a good range of brightness. Very good value for money, wouldn't be without mine now.

This is an excellent reading light providing wide angle illumination unlike many reading lights which only light up a small area. The controls are fairly intuitive once you get the hang of it. You tap to set the brightness and hold the button down to change colour temperature which fades from white light to warm light and then back again. It is a neat way of adjusting colour temp in a stepless manner so that you can get the exact colour temperature required for your particular eyes.The neck articulates and holds its position well whilst the rubber lined clip is strong enough to grab onto most surfaces. On the side there is an ON/OFF switch but you can turn the lamp off from the sensor button (although you do need to tap it four times to switch it off from the brightest setting). Once you get used to the controls, it really is a great little light which helps with eye fatigue during bedtime reading.

I ordered this clip on light to use as a sewing lamp but it's very versatile. You can of course use it for reading or anything else you might need it for such as painting, crafting or even illuminating a small workspace for detailed tasks like model building, jewellery making, or nail art. However, while the lamp brightness is fine, the battery life is not.The battery life is actually very poor. It's dead within an hour of using it. I like to sew and craft for long periods of time and I just can't with this. There are 4 lighting modes and the full brightness lasts for about 35-40 minutes and the other levels are so dim they're not even worth bothering with but even they don't last long!It takes a while to charge too. I had this on the charger for several hours as I was convinced I wasn't charging it properly but nope, it was charged just fine. It just doesn't last long.It's such a shame as I actually like this lamp. The light coming from it on it's top setting is fantastic and perfect for what I ordered it for. It's also a nice compact size, is lightweight so you can clip it to a wide variety of things and the neck of the lamp is super flexible so that you can twist and turn it to pretty much any angle. It's also easy to use and cycle through the brightness modes. It even looks nice.3 stars as I can use it still. I just wish the battery lasted for a little bit longer!
