Do you seem like they were originally designed to fit inside the wet pallet case but they were made too big so they couldn't be sold as officially the right size but the quality of the glass and the paint backing is excellent so you're getting basically a really nice pallet just a little bit too big to fit inside these handy stay wet pallet just stick some feet on the bottom and it's excellent

This palette is hard to review. It looks very nice, has well beveled edges and a smooth even layer of grey under the palette. But the glass seems a little thin and there are no corner pieces protecting the grey undercoat, which rubs against the table when the palette moves.. So I'm not sure how it will hold up. I'm thinking about gluing a piece of 9x12 thin plywood or chipboard to the bottom to protect it. But if I think I need to spend time and money strengthening and protecting this palette wouldn't I have been better off buying a better one to start with?

Does the job. Fits inside my mastersen sta-wet pallette box, so my oils don't stink up the house when I'm not actively using them. This is much easier to clean than a plastic palette. I have scratched the hell out of it already, but that's because I was too lazy to clean up my paints when I was supposed to and I got a little heavy handed with the scraper. No big deal - you can't see the scratches unless you're looking for them. I put 6 felt feet on the bottom of this to make it easier to lift out of my box. I will never NOT have a glass palette now!

Great for color mixing. Easy to clean top surface (back is shaded). Wish it had 4 padded non skid feet on the back.

I was using a neutral grey plastic palette when I would paint with acrylics. However, a plastic palette doesn't work very well when working with oils because of the messy cleanup. This is much easier, more spacious, and easier to clean. This palette came well packaged and as described. No complaints, very happy with my purchase.
