Perfect addition to a plant based pantry
I got a pack of 6! I am still using them, as the unopened ones seem to last forever. I make wonderful Indian foods just slicing up onions or other vegetables and mixing with spices and garbanzo bean flour and then frying them, or air frying with a spray of oil. And there are so many great Italian recipes! I think you really have to have this in a pantry. Once you start cooking with it you will wonder how you cooked without it.

Excellent for pizza crust

Makes excellent pizza GF crust!
I made pizza with this flour for the crust, homemade pizza sauce and homemade vegan mozzarella cheese. The delicious crust & cheese recipes came from one website. It did take the second try to get crust just right as I'm not acustomed to using chickpea flour. I am now! Pros: + Fresh + Excellent quality + Easy to work with + Gluten free Cons: - Wish it came in one bag with twice the volume Looking forward to new recipe ideas from Bob's Red Mill website.

Great addition to my Veggie Burgers
I purchased the Chick pea flour to add some more protein to my recipes that require some thickening. I used it in my veggie burger recipes. Works well. No after taste noticed. I love the brand.

Just like the cookbook said
Home-grinding grains with zero gluten to make gluten-free breads. However, since gluten is what makes bread expansion into loaf-texture possible, have to add non-gluten starches like ground arrowroot or tapioca or potato starch. Another key component in home ground / home baked bread is garbanzo bean ground into flour (also called chickpea flour). My grain grinder is rated marginal for grinding garbanzo, so it's the only packaged flour I buy, but the ingredients are all garbanzo, no preservatives or other additives. First loaves were perfect, right out of the recipe book for home-ground / home-baked bread. This purchase is exactly what I needed!
