Cameron:The School of Hard Knocks!!
This book surprised me!! I expected it to be like so many other reads I have found in the same section/ genre, however, Jade Jones gave me a real story to sink my teeth into. The editing of this book was done well. There were only a few typos or botched sentences. Not so many that it detracts from the story. The drama in the book kept me turning the pages. Because of Cameron's tendency to make such poor decisions and her need to belong, it was quite sad to watch her downward spiral--Although she was a collegiate teen, she was naive, gullible and sweet spirited. Indeed far too trusting. She was horrible with money management and had very little regard for future planning. She was in survival mode and making fast money was all she was consumed with. This was all relative to how this young lady was raised. I wanted to strangle her for her repeated poor choices and befriend her.The author took great pains to illustrate that people with intelligence, ambition and book sense can still fall victim to being people pleasers, suffer from low self esteem issues and have a deep desire to be loved and accepted. She was no doubt the easy prey of Ms Poca aka KieshaThe fact that Cam's childhood was so tragic made me care for Cameron and pull for her 'awakening' from her 'stupid stupor' at every turn. I wanted so badly to give this girl a hug and beat Poca's and Terrence's behind!! I'm hoping the author can give us some kind of back storyshedding some light on why Poca was as treacherous as she was..The girl was poison. Straight up.I fell in love with the hero in the story, Jude!!! He came in at just the right moment and added the tender touches to this story that balanced it all out and redeemed my hope and faith in the men in this read. He and his brother Jerrell were outstanding. This is my first read by Jade Jones but it will not be my last. I just purchased the series of Cameron books, 1-5 and can't wait to find out what goodies unfold. Hopefully it will resume after her college graduation and also give us a little more history on the main characters introduced.. Thanks for this well written offering Ms Jones. It was a nerve wrecking journey but I completed it within a day and a half. I truly enjoyed it. Kudos to your wonderful writing skills.I look forward to reading more of this talented young woman's work.

Author: Jade JonesPublished By: J.J.Age Recommended: AdultReviewed By: Arlena DeanRating: 5 Review:"Cameron" by Jade Jones was some good read that once I started reading this novel I didn't stop until I had finished with it. You really couldn't put it down because there is some much going on that will have you literally wondering what this author has in store for the reader next. "Cameron is fast paced and it will be so much going up and I was trying to keep up ...well I took notes because I didn't want to miss any of it. This storyline was so intriguing and all the drama OMG ...yes! All of the characters were simple off the chart GOOD really making each one very believable that anyone could relate to.....it was all well presented from Cameron(Hypnotic),Rodney, Ahmad, Pocahontas(Poca), Terrence(Silk),X-rated, Redbone, Wallace, Pure Seduction, Tiffany, Juicy, Jerrell, Jude, Rico, Klimaxxx, Bobby,to Kevin and I am sure I have left someone out...so You will have to pick up this excellent read "Cameron" to find out just who that may be.This poor heroine(Cameron) really went through so much that you can only hope for her in the end some common sense because she never gives up and just continues to move forward with her life. Now it is my understanding that there is a book 2... so perhaps we may find some more interesting things about this heroine. We know from the reading that she was a orphan and had lived in many foster homes and now her life had been... when again I don't want to give too much again....pick up the read...you will not be disappointed!Ms. Jones this is my second novel that I have read of yours and I really can only say I enjoyed them both and will be looking forward to Cameron 2 novel real soon. With that being said I would definitely recommend "Cameron" to you as a excellent read.

Cameron
I almost stop reading this book because Cameron was the most naïve character I ever read about. This book was good it had drama, excitement, karma, backstabbing friends, villains, and a lot abuse and heart wrenching pain.

Great start
Cameron and Silk had an unhealthy relationship filled with verbal and physical abuse. Cameron's lack of family and her need to be loved made her a victim. Although she had confidence while stripping, she was a total pushover when it came to Silk. Instead of encouraging Cam to pursue her degree, Silk encouraged her to strip and to make as much money as possible. Silk was a domineering jerk. He constantly embarrassed her with his behavior and poor decisions. Cameron wanted so much for their relationship to work, but once Jude came on the scene, Cam realized that Silk would only bring her down and she could have so much more with Jude. Jude showed her love and compassion. He treated her with respect and encouraged her to get her degree and quit stripping. Jude was her knight in shining armor but Silk had other plans and made her life a living hell. Silk's whole personality changed once he realized he was losing Cam. His confidence plummeted and he became basically a crazed stalker. It was fun to see his once hard demeanor crumble. Not only did Silk want to destroy Cam, but a whole other cast of characters slowly ruined her. Every friend she had, betrayed her. She was a lonely character with only Jude as a true confidant. He was the only person she could open up to. Cam made poor decisions which put her in danger over and over again and her choice in friends was disastrous. Lots of drama and sadistic characters. Cam is going to need some work with decision making and her naivete.

Not at all what I expected - it was better!
I enjoyed this book - to my surprise. This book was given free and I would have happily paid for it. The book was filled with drama right up until the end. I liked the main character although she is the world's worst judge of character. She was very naive although she was quite likeable at the same time. I would like to read the next instalment of this series and I will check out the writer's other stories.

Jade Jones could rival George R. R. Martin
This book was surprisingly addicting to read. I read it within 24 hours. The down side is that I saw most of the plot points happening. I didn't expect the amount of deaths though. Jade Jones could rival George R. R. Martin.

Skip it!
Been on my wish list for 6 months and finally popped up free!So glad I didn't buy this. Repetitive and predictable. You name it, it goes wrong!I'll stick to Meesha mink and De'neasha diamond.Hard pressed to finish it but I did and it didn't improve

How much bad luck can ine person have
How much bad luck can ine person have. Good book, but can't understand why she doesn't learn from her mistakes. I can predict most of whats going to happen quite easily.
