Buyer Beware - Cheap!
Buyer Beware! Have no idea what world the other reviewers live in but as a computer scientist working night and day, these do not measure up at all. So much for great reviews. Returning them ASAP.1. If your table is too low or legs big/long the screw clamp will bump you underneath.2. The top clamp literally sits on the top of the screw and will fall off if tipped.3. Once arm/wrist weight is on these supports they are VERY stiff/hard to move/swing.4. There is NO padding on the top of these arm rest cups. NONE!5. The arm cup with NO padding are made of plastic and could break, crack or even chip at the corners. They look cheap, feel cheap act cheap and are cheap in cost. My arms started to tire and the plastic edges of non-padded arm/wrist cups started to hurt me after 30 minutes. You end up fighting with them to get the mobility needed.I'm familiar with this arm rest and plan to buy them though they are way overpriced. However, they are very comfortable and in a league of their own. ErgoRest - 330-016-BK - ErgoRest Articulating Arm Support - Black - Long Arm, Long Pad

The best prescription for wrist pain!
I do bookkeeping and accounting on a large wood desk for 10 hours a day and part time on the weekends. I removed the drawer that used to sit in the center of the desk and inserted a roll out tray which proved to be flimsy and not production effective in getting work done. I was beginning to have wrist pain from it being bent while working the mouse and was losing feeling in my right arm and I had arm twitches. When I saw this, I thought what the heck - if it doesn't work I can return it.When the box arrived, I pulled out the unit, attached to my desk and immediately knew it was the right purchase. The arm moves with mine, so I can keep my arm in the cradle while typing and moving back and forth from the mouse. When I'm in a hurry, I just move the arm to the side (without detaching) as the arm can swing out and then back in when I want to use it. It appears to be for either right or left handed people, so it's universal. I absolutely love this Wrist Rest and recommend to anyone who has carpal tunnel or types at a desk for multiple hours per day!

Needs improvement.
The arm does what I needed, but not as well as I expected. The product description states that the unit is fully adjustable. Actually, this is true only in the horizontal plane. There is no ability to adjust the height of the arm rest. Also, the arm rest is very lightly padded and made of a synthetic material that causes my arm to sweat. A put a soft cloth in the arm rest to make it softer, allow my skin to breath, and to raise the height slightly. That has maid its use acceptable. Also, the upper attachment bracket is padded with a soft material to protect the surface of the desk or table top to which it is clamped. However, it is very compressible and slightly slippery. The bracket screw must be highly tightened to cause a secure grip. A rubber like material would work better.I doubt the designer of this product uses it.

RELIEF!!
I've only been using it little over a week, but I noticed the difference in my neck and shoulders the first day. I sit in a tiny cubicle with a small L shaped desk. My keyboard and mouse are in front of me and the wrist rest/elbow thingee is mounted on the short side of the L to my right. It moves relatively freely. One star off because it seems to catch sometimes when I am moving my arm around and the little arm/elbow holder could have bee a bit more padded, my arm tends to fall asleep from compression, but the relief for my neck and shoulders is worth a bit of hassle moving positions. And nothing so far that would keep me from buying it again. I'm not a small person so it's bearing up under quite a bit of weight. I'll report back if anything changes, but for now I recommend this little gadget 100%.

Breaks easily
Broke within two weeks of using. A screw came lose and fell off.Tried to replace it, but they make it super difficult. Firstly, you have to rip through the fabric to remove the top part as the bolt they use was not easy to replace at a standard store. Secondly, its a weird depth, so what I did find wobbled the elbow too much for comfort. Un-usable. You get what you pay for unfortunately.

What I found that helped my shoulder issues was using a vertical mouse like the Anker (sold on Amazon)
Bought this because I was having mouse-related shoulder pain and hoped that it would support my arm to keep it in a neutral position. Unfortunately, the arm is fixed at one height, so if your desk isn't the exact height as the arm rest, it actually puts your arm a bit higher and leads to more shoulder pain. What I found that helped my shoulder issues was using a vertical mouse like the Anker (sold on Amazon), which I highly recommend.

INSTANT RELIEF
I have a new position and it is a desk job. For the past month, I have been having shoulder pain, neck tension and numbing of the right arm. I took pain meds, saw the chiropractor and got a massage. I felt slightly better, but still had pain. I then noticed that my left arm was supported on the desk, but that my right arm kind of dangled. I searched the internet and found this product and decided to try it. It was a GODSEND! An hour into the typing and there was no tension build up. The elink pro moves fluidly and easily with my arm and except for the relief, you don't even know that it is there. At the end of the day, I left my desk with no neck pain and no tingling and numbing of the right arm. It has been a week now and the difference is incredible. I can't imagine not having it and I am sure that without it I would have serious occupational injury. GET ONE!!
