9GreenBox - Aloe Vera

I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews here but my plants (I bought two ) came in really great shape, were inexpensive (less than 4 dollars), and are ready to repot. Aloe grows quickly so the small size doesn't bother me. They were actually bigger than I expected after looking at some of the reviews. Aloe is hardy and grows quickly so no worries there.

I was nervous to order a live plant from Amazon, but it was green and healthy when it arrived. I don’t have a very green thumb, so this plant is perfect for me. It doesn’t require a lot of attention or sunlight.

Aloe vera is one of my favorite plants to have available to treat burns and other minor injuries. It will stay inside until warm weather returns. Then I expect it will be easy to maintain on the balcony where it can get a lot of sun. It needs little care, just water when the soil is dry, and it will thrive for years.

The price was good

I have been taking care of aloe plants for years and know just how robust these plants are. The 2 plants that came in the mail were dying, with broken leaves and discoloration. All my attempt to resuscitate these 2 poor guys failed. The seller has some gall advertising these plants in the picture as lush and green and then sending out tiny pots of sick dying aloe plants. Here I was paying for a 2 day delivery hoping foolishly that the plants health would be worth the fast shipping. Here's an idea - go to your local nursery and get fresh, green, aloe - that is what ended up doing. I am not a picky guy and usually give credit on Amazon when credit is due, but this was just a terrible experience. More than anything I hated looking at the pathetic little plants breathe their last before they finally gave up. Stay away from this seller!

Totally not what I expected. It was not 5-8 inches. It only has 3 little sprigs and it's already half dead 3 days later. I was disappointed. Seems they sent me a baby sprig from the one in the picture. It might have been worth 2.99 had I not had to pay so much shipping on it. I don't recommend it. Which is super unfortunate because I have a really bad habit of burning myself on my wood stove.

I ordered this for my daughter in college and she says it came bigger than expected and keeps growing well

i would not recomend this seller to anyone. When I opened my package i was saddened and disappointed at the same time . i couldnt believe the distributer actually rapped these living breathing beings in plastic. i dont agree with the packaging and i will not buy form them again . my plants look like they are still infant staged , they dont look anything like the picture. if this is a nursery they should be ashamed at how the carelessly handled these babies my plants looked have dead when i unrapped them and its going to take a lot of love to keep them alive . i want my money back or new plants shipped the right way.This is crazy -lesson learned
