Brooks Women's Ghost 14 Neutral Running Shoe

Brooks are my go to brand for running shoes. After an injury I went to a local running shoe company who measures your height and weight, and an employee watches how you walk and run on a treadmill to see if your feet tend to lean in/out, etc and recommended brooks ghost 14. The running store went out of business but I have been purchasing from amazon ever since. I’ve had this pair a year now. The pics are of the shoe one year later. I try to run at least 4 miles a day, sometimes 6. I do alternate with another pair of brooks ghost but you can see the shoe holds up well, is still in great condition, tread has run down but that’s normal. I think the style is super cute and the ghost 14 provides me with a perfect amount of support. I’m a 7.5 and always size up to an 8. Super easy to keep clean (I run in all weather including snow and rain-great traction), I wipe them down with a baby wipe after use and stuff them with newspapers to dry them out when wet. They still run great and are so comfortable, 1 year later, although I’ll need to replace soon due to normal tread wear and tear. Buy these!

I found these true to size. Also very comfortable on my foot that has recently healed even after standing for 8 hours.

Folks. I’ve finally done it. I found them. I found the marshmallow shoes.These are my new favorite shoes. All-time favorite. I’m 27 and I’ve worn a ton of different shoes. Nikes, ASICS, New Balance, Adidas, Under Armour, Hoka, Saucony, and finally, now Brooks.To be honest, I bought these solely based on aesthetics. I love the black/black. I love the design. I love the implied durability and comfort. Now?! Now, I’m obsessed. I’m thankful. I could cry tears of joy for finding these. THANK YOU AMAZON.ANYWAY. I’m on my feet for 16-18 hours a day. I go for walks daily. I go for runs daily. All in these shoes. I swap socks out between work and exercise, obviously. BUT, oh my goodness. My feet are so HAPPY! I love these shoes. I want them in all the colors. That’s how much I love them.The size is true to size. I wear a size 8. The 8s fit me perfectly. I have regular sized feet. I think? My feet are not wide, nor are they super narrow. They’re definitely neutral pronation. The Brooks do not squeeze my toes, my toes do not flush up against the toe box when running, there’s no issues at all. Not even a blister. I can’t say enough good things about these shoes. I’ll buy them again and again. Honestly, I’m going to buy another black pair next payday because I love them that much.

I was hesitant to spend this much money on a pair of sneakers for walking my dog, but I've been plagued with relentless plantar fasciitis pain in my right heel, and it has kept me from being active the way I want to be. I was in constant, 24/7 pain, even when sitting. It was excrutiating, and I just couldn't take it any more. I joined a support group on Facebook, and tons of people recommended these shoes specifically. I was willing to try anything at that point, so I used the "try before you buy" program to see how they worked for me. I felt a difference as soon as I put them on! The most noticeable difference is that this particular shoe gives your foot a pronounced tilt forward, taking the constant pressure off your heel and shifting the impact forward to the ball of your foot. This brought immediate relief! Also, I had purchased some Dr. Scholls Plantar Fasciitis insoles previously to use in other shoes, and I noticed that the insoles that come in these shoes are almost identical to the thickness and shape of those, except that the ones in these shoes have an even higher arch support. I can walk in these and not feel like I'm walking on rocks under my heel. When I sit, there's not the constant, throbbing pain that continues. I experienced relief from the very first day I put them on, and it has gradually improved. So I didn't even need the full 7-day trial to know that these were golden! So if you have this type of foot problem, feel confident that these shoes will help you ease the discomfort. Also, I have a very narrow foot, and I was pleasantly surprised that this brand sells narrow widths. My narrow (and thin from top to bottom) foot usually makes it quite difficult to get a good fit in any type of shoe, but these are magical! This was my first Brooks purchase, but I will definitely be back again when I need to replace these shoes. I highly recommend them! I'm also pleasantly surprised that such a solid, supportive shoe is so very lighweight. I didn't expect they would be so airy, but they really are so great for everyday wear.

I had wanted hookas but unfortunately they were sold out at the time so I decided to try these out. They are very comfortable and light weight! I use them for walking, running, and the gym and have been happy with their performance. They are also very durable and have help up well! I don’t love the look of them but they are okay. If you’re looking for a nice pair of running shoes these are worth the money!

I was a bit hesitant in getting this shoe because I have been wearing the Addiction shoe now for about 2-3 years. I have orthotics and so it is hard for me to find shoes that support my foot, is comfortable, and able to slide the orthotics into without difficulty. Since these are on sale, I thought I would try them. Saving about $40 per pair of shoes is a good sale in my opinion. The first thing I noticed when I got them was that these are significantly lighter than my Addiction style and so I was a bit concerned that they might not hold my foot like the Addiction. However, my orthotics slid right in, and from the minute I put the shoes on, they fit perfect. No pain, no breaking in of the shoe, they are just comfortable! Lots of room in the toe box, no slipping on the heel, they seem to have a good padding. I could not ask for a better shoe! I have just ordered another pair before the sale goes off in a slightly different color. The pattern I really wanted was sold out, but hey, for the price and the fit/comfort, I'll find a pattern I like as there are many to choose from.
