Yes, it is the same as carolina tangy gold.

Does this need to be refridgerated after opening? Can it be frozen?

I keep mine on the counter. The vinegar base acts as a preservative (my thoughts). The bottle does not read refrigerate after opening. It does read "Sodium Benzoate as a preservative". You could put it in smaller squeeze bottles for freezing, space dependent. However it will need sometime to defrost, plan ahead.

Carolina gold and I got the bourbon so how do I send it back

According to the return policy….it’s “non-refundable”. Now, if you ordered the “Carolina Gold” and they mistakenly sent you the “Kentucky Bourbon” I would contact the seller and request an exchange.
