I live in the High Mojave Desert and my old door mat disintegrated due to the extreme temperatures (30 degrees F in Jan and 115+ degrees in summer) with very intense UV light due the the 3,00oft altitude. This mat was a relly nice surprise as it is twice the thickness of comparable mats sold at big box stores and W---rt. The black design is deeply integrated into the weave so it will last, and the mat itself seems really durable at my front door now after a couple of months of constant in and out in wet winter weather. I believe this one will withstand the temps and UV light well.

Updated review: The company reached out to me to address my concerns, and they sent a replacement right away. I am impressed with their dedication to customer service and taking its customers' concerns seriously instead of dismissing them (which is what most other companies would do). I changed my rating from 3 to 4 stars after this positive interaction, and I'm hopeful that the replacement will hold up better. I would definitely consider buying from them again in the future. Beautiful upon receipt but it quickly looked worn within a couple of months of being on my covered front porch. It didn't get much foot traffic, but the exposure to the elements has caused it to look less welcoming. I expected to stay fresher looking for a longer period of time.

Perfect size, easy to clean.

The backing is so brittle, I picked it up, at the middle of the straight side to shake it off, but before I could start to shake it, it tore about for inches. Less than two weeks and I had to repair it. Thank Heaven for Gorilla tape!

What a wonderful Welcome mat for a front door! Great size and love the shape not just a square shape. Gives it more character. Quality is great. Very thick and heavy duty, it seems like it will last for a long time. I recommend this mat if you are shopping for a welcome mat.
