Great socks. Added some extra cushion, but most importantly kept my feet warm and dry, even when snow and moisture got in my boot (yikes!). They have several compression areas (for athletic performance, I guess), which felt odd at first but worked well.Also, I purchased to “long” socks, and they are definitely long. I’m 5’4”, and the tops would have come up exactly to my knee fold. This wasn’t comfortable for me, so I folded the top sock band down once, just UNDER the knee bend, and it was great.Very nice and good quality sock!

This is an excellent wool product that breathes, isn't too thick, and doesn't scratch. I love this brand - Danish Endurance. It was developed with an Olympic skier I think, or someone who is an Olympic champion in a snowy, cold sport. It's by FAR my favorite brand of wool sock. It's quite thin, but still keeps the foot warm while breathing so as not to get the foot too hot either.

These were a bit thinner than I hoped for but they are comfortable and hug all the right places and don’t squish my toes. I don’t like baggy, saggy, Ill fitting socks and these have stitching strategically placed that help the sock conform better to the curves it covers.The padding is more generous once you go past the ankle and get to the calf (you can see the shift when the yellow starts in my pics). I assume that’s so you don’t have to go up a size in boots or shoes. I wear these Around the house because I’m cold all the time and we have no insulation in our old house. This is particularly problematic when I’m on the cold tiles in the kitchen. My feet got pretty cold while making dinner. The insulating factor of the wool might make these better if worn inside a shoe than by themselves. When I sat on the couch my feet were much more comfortable than on the tile.Overall these are a pretty good deal.

The only negative I have is that the socks are just a bit too tall for my liking. They are comfy, durable and cool colors.

We got two pairs of these socks!Great for cold weather as well as for skiing!I would think they are a little too large but the purpose of them is to protect from cold temps. So I guess that's part of their purpose!No complains, the quality seems to be very good and durable!

These fit really well and wore well on a recent trip to Europe. Allowed me to wear Blundstones which I thought might be too cold and the socks kept my feet comfortable and warm. Additionally, the long length kept my legs warm so I didn't need thermal underwear as I thought I might. Keep it up!

I buy a pair of these for my adult son every Christmas. He normally loves them, however this year I bought him 2 pair and after he wore one pair he got a hole in the end making it unwearable after one use. This is not what we have experienced in the past as he still has all the pairs he has received in years past, he wears them often in the winter months and they are still going strong. We can see no reason for the hole, his nails are short, shoes are fine, but still developed a large hole in the end. Maybe just a fluke.
