Great lego set. Good value

I loved the Wednesday series, so had to get this set. It's an enjoyable build with clear instrctions that took a few hours to complete. While I love all the little details from the show - especially the window, which opens - it's not quite as big as I expected. I'm also not keen on the figures - like the Lego Friends collection, they're larger than normal Lego figures, and a different style, more doll-like. For me at least, this aspect makes it less of a display piece for collectors, and more one for playing with, but as noted, there isn't an awful lot of room in the set to move the figures around.I don't know whether there was a piece missing from the box, or if I somehow managed to lose it as soon as I opened the bag (still haven't found it), but unfortunately I'm missing a corner piece from beneath the window. It's not super noticeable, but you don't have to look too hard to spot it.The drawers are a nice feature, although they seem to be mostly intended for storing the extra figures (there are two for Wednesday and two for Enid) and their accessories. You could use them as extra playing space, but it would be nice if they contained some different pieces, and were at the back rather than the front of the model, so they could act as extensions of the girls' rooms.

Lovely Lego set, fun to build

As kids and adults alike eagerly await the new season of Wednesday, this Lego set is a great way to plug the gap by providing you with the opportunity to recreate some of your favourite scenes from Season 1, or imagine your own adventures. This highly detailed set is a recreation of Wednesday and Enid's dorm room from Nevermore Academy, a place of refuge for the two thrown-together outcasts, and a place where they eventually form what passes as a friendship for the likes of Wednesday. On one side there is the exterior balcony, and on the other is the interior of the room, both sides coming with a variety of features to enhance play.The balcony section has gargoyles, a balcony, beams, and a roof to climb on, while also hiding a couple of sliding drawers underneath for stories accessories and other figures. Leading through the openable window, just like the show, we get to the inside featuring a cello, record player, and two distinct halves to represent the visual and tonal differences between the two girls. Both Wednesday and Enid are included in the set, along with Thing and an additional Wednesday and Enid in different outfits - a cool extra!My girls enjoyed the first Season but may have aged a little out of Lego in the wait for Season 2, but my son is aware of the show from memes and trends, and has enjoyed doing his own thing with the set while taking guidance from his big sisters. He is too young to build the set himself, but he helped put some parts together when I told him where certain pieces were meant to go, and as always with Lego, the instructions are clear and the parts are solid.This set looks great as a designer item in a bedroom as well as a toy, and it isn't too large that it will take up a lot of space on top of a set of drawers or on a bedside table.

Had fun building this with my son. Took us a few hours on and off. It’s a decent size and really lovely set as a display or to play with. Love the 2 versions of characters. Really great for Wednesday fans big and small. Makes a good addition to a collection. Highly recommend.

Love Adams family and wednesday so this was a great looking set to build.Price per brick is ok, nothing special but the build itself was great. 7 bags and it took me a good few hours to build with my daughter, as we had lots of fun along the way.For us, the display is the most fun part. There are two sides to make it I teractive, the front building view which is great on a shelf, and the rear room view which is super fun to show when someone notices it. Not only that but there are two little drawers which are great to store the dolls.I do wish they were little minofigs instead of the dolls but my daughter definitely prefers the dolls. You get two versions of each doll too which was a cool addition. And Thing! Don't forget thing.All in all this feels like a very premium set, it's fun and interactive and has lots of display potential. I really really enjoyed this one.
