The app is so bad. It’s lagging a lot, the video is not working properly. Why do I pay for the option with camera if I can’t enjoy watching the video.

It’s an amazing product for you cat, love how I can control my cat feeding habits since he eats mostly dry food. It’s easy to install, love the fact that you can choose how much food you want to feed, timing is accurate too.

This is a 10/10 product that has exceeded expectations. Arrived in perfect condition due to great packaging. The app loaded onto my iPhone and the PetLibro connected to the Wi-Fi without a problem. The firmware updated quickly and it was showtime …… put the dry food in the silo, set the feeding time and used the camera function on my iPhone to see that the dry food went into the stainless steel bowl. It all worked perfectly. I was concerned that the mix of dry food we use including cubes of dental care dry food but I needn’t have worried. Your buying decision is whether to go for the camera or not (I love the camera). Alerts come up on the iPhone indicating audio and visual noise detection plus confirmation of food being released into the bowl. This can also act as a security alert if the cat isn’t causing the alerts! The next thing to test is the battery backup ……

Chose this feeder after doing some background reading on several other pet feeders. Was a little concerned that it may not do all that I wanted it to do, as the write up was a little vague in places as to what functions it actually came with out the box. However I need not have been concerned. It does all that I need it to do. It took a few tries to get it to connect to the router but once the connection was made all was fine. I found the user interface quite intuitive and hence easy to use. I thought I would be using the scheduled feeding function, but as it turned out I relied on the Motion and Sound sensors to alert me to the presence of a cat in the vicinity. The real time camera stream (both daytime and night time [infra-red]) showing which cat was nearby so I could decide whether to use the Manual Feed to dispense food. This feature was particularly useful as both cats will eat whatever is available regardless of whether it is their feeding time or not! I was also able to call them using the Talk function which enabled me to call their names, which to be honest I thought would freak them out, but it did not. There was probably a bit of a downside from the cat's perspective in that I was not always monitoring my phone, so there were a few longer gaps between feeds than would occur if I was at home. I could have employed the schduled feeding function to elminate this and used the log and message/alarm functions to identify which cat had eaten, but I chose not to do this. In addition there is the function to share the feeder (device) with others, which I have done so they can feed the cats if I am not able to do so. It worked for me, my partner and the cat situation in our house, so therefore recommend this version of the Petlibro Pet Feeder with Petlibro LITE App for smart phone.

Très satisfaite de cette gamelle! Je l'ai achetée car mon chien est épileptique et qu'il a un traitement à recevoir à heures fixes 2 fois par jours et je travaille sur un rythme posté donc je ne suis jamais à la même heure chez moi. J'ai la chance qu'il le prenne facilement avec ses croquettes, donc cette gamelle est idéale! Je peux programmer l'heure exacte et la quantité souhaitée de croquette. Dans mon cas je recharge entre chaque dose (matin et soir) car j'ajoute le médicament à chaque fois, mais la contenance est suffisante pour plusieurs repas si nécessaire. J'aime le côté programmable comme un réveil (et donc pas connecté à un téléphone avec risque de perte de synchronisation) et le fait que ce soit branché sur secteur avec des piles qui prennent le relais en cas de coupure ou de débranchement de la machine. La gamelle à survécu au test d'intelligence de mon berger australien qui avait réussi jusque là à ouvrir toutes les Gamelles que je lui avais proposé pour ce médicaments... c'est la seule jusque là ayant réussi le crash test ! Il n'en a détruit aucune mais il comprenait le mécanisme des autres et finissait par les ouvrir proprement. C'est un sans faute pour ma part! Aller... si vraiment on veut chercher quelque chose, c'est un peu bruyant au moment de la distribution à cause du bol en métal... mais si vraiment ça gêne, il doit y avoir moyen d'atténuer ce bruit en changeant la gamelle ou en y ajoutant un adhésif plastique dans le fond!
