OXO Good Grips Angled Measuring Bucket

So its a bucket you might think. I didnt think much about it but when it came I was very pleased. Its a big bucket with a really sturdy handle and a finger groove on both sides of the bottom so that when you are emptying it it doesnt slosh everywhere. . There are measurements on the inside to aid mixing amounts and a little hook to keep you mop upright. It is the last bucket I will ever buy.

well where do i start this is no ordinary bucket , i have had one previously and some builders ended up putting a hole in the bottom of it . I found a new one , it enables you to measure and see the amount inside whilst it's on the floor . You can pour out of it either side great for right and left handed people , it's sturdy and looks great too . It's a lot bigger than most buckets so reduces the need for re-filling .

A brilliant, large capacity bucket - I love it. It has a very useful internal moulded measuring scale so you can easily see from above how much liquid is in it. I have had a similar item for many years and am only buying this as a replacement after my husband stole the old one for the workshop.

It's s bucket. But is better than most. Handle stands up and has a hook to hold the mop. Pours well and has graduated marks for the amount of water or cleaning products. More expensive than most but is well designed and feels quality that will last for years.

Have been using this for all sorts of tasks, mostly as a container for portable AC water drain. Very good capacity, convenient spouts for puring the water out. A good product from Oxo, as usual.

OK, may be a bit more than you would pay usually, but being fed up with cheap buckets that break, it's worth spending a bit more for quality. Feels nice to carry, and is strong. Excellent.

Love this, made really well and of strong quality, other mop buckets are nowhere near as strong as this one!

Nice to have a product turn out to be better than expected. I was just seeking a sturdy bucket in an elongated shape that would accommodate the mop I use to wash my house siding. I saw the red thing on the handle but didn't realize it was for leaning the mop pole. That is a really nice feature. I also didn't expect all the measuring marks inside the bucket that help with creating the right mix of cleaner and water and can be easily read from above looking down into the bucket. The bucket is sturdy and has a good handle that folds down for storage, but locks up to make transport reliable when filled and a place to lean the mop as needed.I found, completely by accident when using a long handled soft brush mop to wash a big bay window, that it also washed the mildew off the siding super easily. For the window I could make a small batch of my washing solution in a regular bucket since I didn't have to dip the mop head but once and could finagle it as needed to get it all wet. Then I'd hose off the window and use a squeegee. In the course of my efforts I noticed that the siding below the window was coming clean with almost no effort at all. I'd been pressure washing the siding, or paying to have it done, neither a good option for places I can reach with a long handled mop and then just squirt off with the hose. It was all I could do to convince my son to try it since like most guys he was positive pressure washing was the only option. Having discovered this much easier way of cleaning the siding, I just needed a bucket to hold my solution and refresh the mop as needed while I worked. I compared several options and really chose this one mostly for size. I was very pleased to see the extra features.Because of the measuring feature inside the bucket, I expect I'll be using it for more things than I planned. On the inside bottom is a depression for one amount and another for a larger amount of cleaner, then on the sides like those OXO measuring cups are the marks for amount of water to add. Even if I'm just cleaning my wood kitchen floor, where I get my mop wet'ish, I can sort of scrape off any excess moisture against the ridges in the bottom of the barely filled bucket and then store the mop in it until the floor is dry and I can wash off the mop and bucket.

We use this with a window washing wand at home. Our old bucket was too small to fit the whole wand to fit in it, this one works well. Quality built bucket

Large than I thought, all kinds of mops willfit in it for sure - padded handle is nice & hook to hold mop is a nice feature

This review probably seems amusing to most people. It would to me - just some crazy lady that can't make up her mind. Seriously though, I never knew it could be so difficult to buy a bucket. It can be a bit time consuming to sort through a lot of alternatives and many questionable reviews to find an item that one would think should be simple to purchase.I originally thought that it would be easy to buy a bucket for what I needed to use it for. Not so. This is my third bucket in less than a year, but I think I finally found one that suits my needs. The first one I bought at Lowes and the plastic holding the metal handle broke. The sharp edge of my floor mop pierced the side of the second one which I bought at Home Depot. One thing I should clarify, is that I use the bucket primarily for a squeegee for cleaning my windows, a floor mop with a ringer handle, to water some of my plants and a few other odds and ends.The problem with most buckets is that they are round, but in my case I discovered that I needed one that was oblong and durable.I spent way too much time trying to find a third bucket I liked, both at stores and online. And while there are a lot of buckets advertised on Amazon, there seems to be many that are identical with the only exception being a different name and price, not to mention that most are round. I have to question a lot of the reviews as well, as a number of them seem bogus in my opinion.I finally settled for the Oxo since the reviews seemed the most authentic of many that I reviewed and OXO is a brand of household products that I am familiar with. Hopefully it doesn't let me down over time. So far, it well meets my needs and appears fairly durable. It's a really good size as well (it will hold up to four gallons) and it has a little clip for holding your mop so it doesn't flip out of the bucket.
