OK... so you are new to Tmux, have a little VIM under your belt, and just want to improve your workflow with TMux?Start here--geek, Programmer, Principle Investigator, or other Researcher running long-running programs.... Now I do wish there was a little more detail about Tmux env variables or some of the flags and formats, but minor issues once you work your way through this fast read.buy the book, open up an SSH session, and follow along. You will be fine and end so much better.And everything you google about Tmux after will make so much more sense to you after.

Clear and straight to the point. This book provides clear informations and has been very useful to take tmux to the next level. It gives valuable tips and tricks to make the most out of tmux.

Sehr gutes Buch

Un petit opuscule pour nous introduire dans le monde de tmux.Je ferai quelques remarques sur l'à propos de ce livre : d'abord il constitue une introduction par la pratique,nous permettant d'utiliser tmux très vite.Il faut toutefois noter qu'il n'est plus tout à fait à jour et qu'il faudra aux lecteurs la patience de vérifier par eux-mêmes les données de configuration de l'application.Enfin il est un peu cher pour le nombre de pages qu'il contient (environ 80).Je précise que le livre est écrit en anglais mais d'abord facile.

This book is a little gem and really helped me to get up to speed with tmux in just a few hours. True, you will find most of the information in the tmux man page for free, but this little guide teaches you the ropes much quicker and is full of little tips and tricks. If you prefer the console to the GUI and tmux is new to you, it's definitely a book you should buy.
