Using this 10ah with a solar panel to power led lights in a hardware shed. Im very happy with these batteries . I did not know about the issues with temperature and LiPo batteries when I ordered. Currently, I have one battery on a pet water bowl heating pad and in an enclosed box. The water bowl heater is a plastic mat box type thing it does not get hot... and only provide the minimum of heat needed to keep a water bowl from freezing outdoors not to warm the water .. so it feel its safe.UPDATE- I believe the info I gathered from other sources concerning LiFePO4 batteries may have been overstated & even incorrect. The battery has protections in place for Discharge Low Temperature, and the operating temperature includes temperatures 0°F and above. I have since discontinued use of the warming mat since I do not think this issue is a concern for my area. It sounds like the battery will let you know through its protection circuits if steps should be taken . There is alot of information in the manual specifications &High Temps can lower the life span. -I am Still learning about LiFePO4 batteries in general and solar panels for that matter! I know you need to get charging equipment that includes the battery type in its compatible battery list !!This is a great way to get 12v power for lighting to my a shed and to begin to learn about LiFePO4 batteries on a larger scale. I am able to run plenty of led lighting for my needs & have never run it down as I am rarely using the lights more than 3-4 hours at time 3or 4 days / week. This is not a good battery for 120v converter use unless the wattage is very low. The ah here are much less than would be worthwhile i feeI. I would order this battery again 100%. I'm happy with it as I am using it.

Seems well made and I was able to test the rated capacity. Will buy again for sure.
