Large Bird Parrot Chewing Toys for Macaws, African Grey, Amazon Parrots, cokatoos (20 inch)

I make big bird toys but my birds love this one… go figure! So I order 9-10 at a time.

This was actually a pretty good sized toy for the price. While by no means massive, it lasted a few days in my macaw's cage, and was too big for him to just pick up and carry around. While the wood would be easily and quickly shredded by my cockatoo within an hour, it lasted a lot longer with my macaw. The wood is hard, but not too hard for the bird to chew. It is made of safe materials (though I'm not a fan of the colors, which bleed when wet), and is secured safely without the use of a springy clip or plastic fastener. I'm not sure I'd personally buy this toy again, but I do think it's a good toy for birds that are less enthusiastic about chewing than mine.

This item is 110% fit for a macaw. It is too small, has inappropriate hardware that can be a danger to large macaws. The description sounded like and picture looked as if it would be well suited for a Macaw but it is not.My Macaw had this thing chewed up in 48 hours.Disappointed is an understatement.

i havea couple macaws, but i chose instead to give this to my medium birds, I am not sure it would last more than a day the wood is simply too small in chunks to keep them working hard for it, i think if the grooves on the smaller chunks were there it would help for sure. But sadly i feel like this is advertised as being bigger (with the photos) than it really is. its not bad, but i do not know that I would order it again simply because cost to play time is very skewed as far as bird toys go.it however is a great toy for my caique he chews on it a little at a time and it will last him a good long time :D

The media could not be loaded. The threads from this toy would have killed my bird. They formed a noose and he almost hung himself up. I had to cut him out to save him. I would have come to find him hanging. He is my buddy and I will never buy this toy again
