We’ve been using it for 3 days now, and love it so far!

As first time parents, we wanted a baby monitor that we knew we could count on. We knew we wanted it to have an app, but also have a separate monitor to keep at home for the grandparents to use. So far, this camera has really worked well for us. It connected right to our internet with no problems and right to our phones, we can see our daughter clearly morning and night, the zoom feature is AMAZING, as well as the design since it’s super sleek and quality feeling. The sound quality is great and we love that we’re able to talk to our daughter too. Well worth the money!

Vtech makes the best baby monitors in the business. Setup for the model was a little annoying but we haven’t had an issues since. This is our second Vtech baby monitor. Please bring back stand alone “Zoom” buttons. Scanning through the one button is so annoying. Otherwise great reliable monitor!

The volume is loud enough that it wakes us if our baby cries(in a different room) and the camera is very clear.

My babies grew up more than 20 years ago, but I got this VTech Smart WiFi Baby Monitor to keep watch over my front door and kitchen area.Out of the box, my 1st gripe is with the two power supplies. They look the same, but they are not. One fits the camera (baby unit), and the other fits the monitor (parent unit) and they are not labeled. My 2nd gripe is with the instructions. Why can't it be a normal booklet style instead of a large newspaper style folded up like a map? What a mess! At least it's readable and not microprint.After plugging them both in, they talked to each other (paired) without my having to do anything. Nice! Next, I wanted to add them to my home Wi-Fi and check for software updates. I did not want to connect my phone, but it's required. You can't add the camera to the Internet without paring it to your phone. Installing the App was easy enough, but paring to the camera took several tries. It requires a 2.4Ghz LAN connection, but the monitor (parent unit) shows 5GHz as if it's an option which it's not and that is confusing. If it can't do it, don't show it! After finally getting it all connected and updated, I felt like I no longer needed the instructions. The controls on the monitor (parent unit) are pretty straight forward. I played with the nightlight, music options, volume, etc. The pan and tile controls as well as zoom on the camera were impressive, so was the picture quality. The sound quality was good to. Better than Ring anyway. Now I have an intercom between the bedroom and kitchen!

Don’t buy this camera if you have modern Wi-Fi. And by that I mean, 5G or anything fiber. It only connects to 2.4 GHz. After literally three hours of trying to connect the parent unit, we gave up. During that time, we searched the Internet, like crazy and found no hopeful videos that should be listed on the box. I only gave it two stars because the camera quality was really good disappointed I have to return it.
