No, the packaging indicates it is a "product of Brazil" which, I understand, is where the berry is grown.

Can you mix this with water and drink it as juice???

Absolutely not, because it does not blend with water due to the fact that powder is rather grainy and has omega oil in it. But that is true for al freeze dried açai powders of any brand. It does not blend even with fruit juices and it sort of blend with drinkable yoghurt, although 30% of it will stick to wall of the bottle or glass you are drinking from. It does blend well with creamy yoghurt and other creamy products tough. By the comments some people may be satisfied with the result when they mix it with liquids, but what you get, despite all the 'lovely" and "beautifully" comments, is that the powder suspends in tiny grains and 30% of it will stick to the glass walls. Acai freeze dried is not solubile in liquids.

The now acai liquid concentrate says it's equivalent to 35,000mg of fresh acai per serving. how much fresh acai is a serving of this equivalent to?

There is about a 9:1 loss on freeze drying by weight. 1lb of our powder is equivalent to 9lbs of fresh acai pulp.

How many acai bowls could you make with a 4 oz?

It really depends how much you want to use, and what else you are adding to the mix. If you mix 1 tbs with some ice cubes, a banana and other frozen fruit you can make a decent size acai bowl. If this is the case it says their are 37 servings in one bag (one serving is 1tbs). But if you want a strong tasting acai taste- you will want to mix more than one tbs. I find one tbs is plenty.
