Bought this to save on the high prices from the store. Perfect fit and works well. Will buy these for all my tools now.

I got this battery to have as a backup for my Kobalt 40V battery. It's great to have an extra, so I can use two items without having to switch the batteries back and forth. It seems very durable and pretty much identical to the name brand one. Obviously this one is at a much better price. It's a great value! It fit perfectly into my kobalt tools. Battery quality and capacity seems very similar to my name brand one. It also charged right up with my Kobalt charger. I've used it / charged it a handful of times now and still working well.

In my experience, I have been able to do more extensive outside tasks, such as pruning hedges and clearing brush, without having to stop in the middle of the process to recharge my batteries. I used to have to replace batteries or take pauses to recharge, but now I am able to perform the same chores in a single sitting. Because of this change alone, my weekend tasks have become more streamlined and productive, and the irritation that I had as a result of interruptions while I was working has been eliminated. Using it on my cordless trimmer, leaf blower, and chainsaw, I have found that it has worked reliably without causing any performance degradation in any of these tools. This battery was able to keep everything going for a longer period of time than was anticipated, even when used with more demanding items like the chainsaw, which typically consumes power very rapidly. This consistency makes a significant impact for someone who regularly changes between tools while working on the same project. In spite of the fact that I had anticipated that it would take more time due to the bigger capacity, I discovered that it charges within a decent amount of time and is ready whenever I want it. After I have finished a job, I will typically plug it in, and by the time I need it again, it will have been completely charged and ready to take action. Due to the battery's dependability in ensuring that it is always available for use, the stress associated with planning around charging schedules has been eliminated.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this to use with my Kobalt fast charger and to power my pricey 40V outdoor power tools. It’s case seems good if. It identical to the original battery that came with the leaf blower. It fits perfectly into the Kobalt tools with no issues with connection. It has a led indicator that shows battery percentages of 25, 50, 75 and 100. This is excellent so I know if I should start a large project or out it on the charger and switch to a different battery. Having multiple batteries keeps me from being stuck without power in the middle of a job. I expected that these batteries might have some issues with the length of time they hold a charge, but it’s been running side by side with the OEM batteries so far. I am considering getting another battery replaced.

This is a replacement for the first unit which only ran in my mower for a few seconds and then shut down. This replacement does exactly the same thing but I've found it will run my weed whacker. I think there's some info about conditioning the battery but I didn't have to condition the original cobalt batteries. It's pretty much useless to me if it won't run my mower.

I needed a new battery for my 40v kobalt lawnmower and was shocked at the price of a new kobalt battery. This battery is a much more reasonable price and worked perfectly!

So far, so good: Seems to be an affordable and effective substitute for original Kobalt battery.
