I think that this is a great price compared to other brands and it has a good quantity in each bottle so that it will not run out too quickly. I have seen an increase in my Vitamin D count in my blood work since starting to take these and they are small and easy to swallow which is great. I will be buying these again as long as I need to continue to supplement my Vitamin D levels for my health. No issues at all with these supplements.

I usually buy products with the GMP stamp but had used this brand once or twice for other things and it seemed to work. I started feeling like I had more Vit D (feeling better), which my doctor confirmed by telling me that my levels were up and to keep doing what I was doing. The price, given the high IU content on this was good. If you deal with chronic illness or autoimmunity that leave you wanting for far higher IUs than existing recommendations, this is one of the more cost effective options out there.

These are pretty strong vitamin D pills. I started taking this after my doctor suggested my vitamin D level was really low. The first thing I will say is that these pills are relatively small but give you a ton of vitamin D in just a single pill. I just take one every day to get my vitamin D level up and then just one every other day. It is suggested you take one a day if needed but this really is a large amount of vitamin D but nothing out of the normal range. It is fairly easy to swallow and does not need much water but I still down a glass of water every time I take this. The pills do feel a little moist but at least they do not stick to each other. In term of effects, it took about a month before I really started to notice the effect. It really gave me a good amount of energy and also improved my mood throughout the day. I did not feel as down and drained. I would definitely recommend this if your mood has not been feeling very positive as vitamin D does effect your mood. It is just a pill a day. It is recommend you have a meal with it to make it easier to process but not required. It takes time for this to really effect you if you are low on vitamin D. It is inexpensive but I definitely recommend these to get your vitamin D level to good levels.

The price point on the supplement was great when I purchased it. However, it does not seem to work as well as other vitamin d supplements that I have used. I'm not sure why that would be the case, it just seems the quality is not as good.

Have used Puritans Pride supplements for approximately 15 years and have never been disappointed in their quality or effectiveness.

I take large doses (and 10,000ui is a large dose) of vitamin D because I have Multiple Sclerosis. I have actively avoided the sun for 99% of my life and seeing as lack of D could be related, I now take this big dose to make sure the lack of D in my system doesn't continue as I still prefer to stay out of the sun.Puritan's Pride D3 are very easy to take in small gel pills and they are easy on the stomach. I will no doubt continue to take these, probably for the rest of my life.Please ensure you get enough Vitamin D from the sun. You do need minutes per day of sunlight on the arms and legs without any sunblock. No more. The Vitamin D Council website is a good place to start for information. Before taking large doses of D3 and for further information be awaare and research because they do say;--Very high levels of 25(OH)D (the chemical that can develop with large doses) can develop if you:1. take more than 10,000 IU/day (but not equal to) everyday for 3 months or more. However, vitamin D toxicity is more likely to develop if you take 40,000 IU/day everyday for 3 months or more.2. take more than 300,000 IU in a 24 hour period.If you have taken this much vitamin D, seek medical attention. Your health providers will get your calcium and 25(OH)D levels tested.

Amazing price for the strength and quantity. Doctor recommended I take it since I have low vitamin d levels. So far it’s great no side effects and the gelatin used is “bovine hides and beef” no pork!! I had to call and ask and was confirmed no pork gelatin which I can’t take due to dietary restrictions.
