Wasn't sure about this as had tried a few things to flavour popcorn, but these are great and delicious.I use a rapeseed oil spray and a sprinkle of the topping 😊.They appear to be lasting ages!

The caramel was the best of the 3 flavours but it's not one I eat often, I think the strong smell made it feel like it had more flavour than it actually did.I was really looking forward to the sweet and salty but found it was quite lacking in both flavours. I added 10g to my 50g of popcorn kernals after they popped. There were several wet bits where the flavouring has clumped around the spray oil. I've never had that issue with other flavouring.

I thought these shakers were a great idea as if you have a hot air based popcorn maker, I find the resulting popcorn pretty yucky by itself. Normally I end up making a batch of caramel to toss them in, but thats more effort than cooking the corn in a pan in the first place.These shakers are a nice easy solution to a quick flavour burst with some classic flavourings. The only issue is that it doesn't stick to the popcorn from a hot air machine.I found the easiest solution was to give the corn a very light spray with vegetable oil after popping and toss the popped corn around before sprinkling. It seems to work and the unflavoured corn doesn't feel or taste any different.The taste post sprinkle is good, but then the ingredients are essentially pretty simple, being combinations of sugar, icing sugar, salt and caramel flavouring, which apart from the caramel is pretty readily available at a much more favourable cost.It's all nicely presented and the shakers are handy but apart from convenience, there's no magic that you wouldn't get from mixing your own salt and icing sugar combination for so much less cost.They'd make a nice gift though and I'm not taking anything away from the product, which works well and which I'd be very happy to receive, but less happy to buy!

Difficult to avoid the idea that you're paying an awful lot of money on this Popcorn Hut Cinema-style Popcorn Seasonings and getting a small tub of salt - together with sweet-salt and the caramel flavours. However the salt has been ground to a very fine powder that does cling to popcorn much better and works quite well - but you could achieve virtually the same by grinding some normal salt in a good food processor. You could probably achieve the Sweet & Salty version by adding in some sugar and grind that too. The Caramel flavour is the only one you probably couldn't easily make for yourself.All that said these do work pretty well and they're very easy to apply to fresh-made popcorn, you just shake the seasoning on using the inbuilt perforated cap and then give the popcorn a good shake. Popcorn Hut have other packs with different non-salt flavours and they're probably a better buy than this one, you get a lot more flavours that would be difficult to mimic in your own kitchen. This pack offers convenience and the Caramel flavour is good but it's a crazy price to pay for two tubs of salt.

Yummy, a total game changer for fresh popcorn.You get a lot in these shakers, they will go along way,These taste and smell even nicer than the proper stuff you get at the cinema.

Fake tasting thrown in the bin

I was quite excited about trying this and even rushed out to get some popping corn so i could give it a go but sadly I think that while it's a nice idea and the company has the branding and product design nailed, the powders themselves are just so faintly flavoured that it's almost imperceptible and even if heavily used it doesn't get any more powerful it's just more consistently applied.it's a shame as i was really looking forward to enjoying it and switching to making my own popcorn from now on but in truth i'd rather just keep buying the bagged popcorn.
