This curling iron is fantastic! It’s super easy to use, even for beginners like me. I love that the temperature is adjustable, which is perfect for my color-treated hair since I prefer using lower heat. Overall, it’s definitely worth the price! I wasn’t ready to spend a hundred dollars on a high-end brand, and this one does the job beautifully.

Overall, this is a nice auto-rotate curling iron that comes in a 1.1 inch diameter size (I did not actually confirm this, my calipers are a work and I forgot to bring them home). I find the extra tenth of an inch interesting to include, but I would say this is definitely approximately an inch in diameter.There's a learning curve with using this curling iron. The clamp for your hair is quite short so you can't use this with too wide of a section of hair. Additionally, the thumb lever for opening the clamp is very short. Because of this, my hands are wrapped around the handle right where the auto rotate buttons are located, so I'm constantly bumping those when trying to get my hair in the correct position. The first time I used this, I ended up burning my hand about 4 times trying to coordinate clamping the right amount of hair and preventing myself from hitting the auto rotate buttons. Since then I've only burnt my hand once or twice although I've used this several times so far. I do have those heat protectant gloves that often come with products like this to prevent burning yourself but I have such a hard time using items with these gloves on. I prefer not wearing the glove. This did not come with a glove either.Positives: - It heats up very quickly so I don't have to wait long to start using - It has auto shut-off. Something important for me as I have a tendency to forget to shut off my hair products sometimes - The auto rotate works well and quickly once you have it positioned right in your hair. - This actually curls my hair pretty well! I have a hard time getting my hair to hold any curl. Even perms have failed me. I sometimes like styling my hair is loose waves. The 1 (1.1?) inch barrel gives me a tight enough curl and then after I let me hair cool down for 20 minutes or so and I comb through my hair with a wide-tooth comb, I'm left with nice loose waves. I may have to freshen on a few pieces until it finally takes but overall I'm pleased with the results.For the price and the selection of colors this comes in, I think this is a pretty good product for adding curl to hair.
