Nice knife for the money
The media could not be loaded. Better than my wusthof but not as nice as my shin primer. But at 1/5th the cost it’s pretty hard to compare. The quality is superb, the knife is sharp right if the box. Love the weight and feel. Definitely recommend.

An Absolute Work of Art
This has quickly become the star of my kitchen. We have a few different 8" chef knives, but this is the one I've found myself reaching for since buying it. It is wonderfully crafted, and it feels so satisfying to use.First off, you can tell that a lot of care went into this simply from unboxing the product. It is contained in a very slim, elegant box, that unfolds to display all the components, alongside instructions that are IKEA-level simple. You even get a multitool for putting the screws in that can be used for other purposes, which is a nice bonus. And once you put it together, the knife is both solid and beautiful. The etchings on the handle, while perhaps a little on the random side, pattern-wise, are still extremely pleasant to look at. And the blade looks extremely sleek. They could have gone with the Damascus trend, but I prefer the more simple dark steel look they have here. And then you get to use it. To start with, the design of this is extremely light, so much so that you originally think it's going to end up being cheap. But no, it's just light. And even though there's an opening in the handle, it's very comfortable in the hand. I did a long holiday meal prep with this, and didn't have any discomfort issues the entire time. And that's to say nothing about how the blade cuts. It's amazing! It literally slid through everything like butter, with effectively no resistance. Obviously it'll dull over time, but the fact that it's starting at such a sharp level is a really good sign.If I had to come up with one negative for this, it's that no matter what I do, I can't get the screws to align across the tang of the blade like they do in the product photos (unless I leave them marginally loose, of course). But if that's the worst thing you can think of for a kitchen knife, you're in great shape. This is a pricy knife, but it's the sort of knife you'll feel that a) you'll want to cook more just so you can use it, and b) you'll want to keep for a long time.
