It is cheap but working great.If you want trim your fence tree by yourself just get it. No need to buy other expensive one. This one performs more than enough.

Works fine with Makita battery. It's little less powerful than the corded trimmer we had, but the convenience of just walking over and trimming without unraveleling and plugging in and dragging a cord is worth it. I'll update if it falters, but so far so good.

Trimmer works great. Also like the safety of it....have to have both hands on for it to run....which is good as these are very dangerous tools....too easy to injure yourself without the safety. Only thing that surprised me is that it did not come with a battery. Part of why i bought it was because it said it worked with makita batteries....and it does. And i used some of the many makita batteries i have to power it. But it was not clear that it actually didnt come with a battery. Didnt matter for me as i have lots of makita batteries....but might surprise others. But as i said.....only used it once but it worked great and ran for several hours of trimming and cleanup in my backyard. Good product...and i do recommend it.

A couple of our bushes, somehow, got out of control and needed trimming. The bush trimmer we had was a short reach trimmer and we would be needing something with a longer reach. Since this bush is a permanent part of our yard it was decided to order a long reach trimmer. When this was offered we placed the order.The trimmer has a 22" reach and can cut up to 3/4 inch limbs. It runs on 18'21 volt batteries (not included?) and is definitely a very good and strong cutter. You can see the bush we trimmed that was about 9 feet in the air and a good 5 feet wide. There were a number of branches over the 3/4" limit and I was still able to get it to cut them when I took time to work around the limited space trimming a little at a time. I had batteries from another device and used that to operate. The battery life was very good as I needed one full battery and about 5 minutes worth of a second battery This is very efficient on power consumption.It takes depressing 2 buttons to operate as a safety device. This 2 button thing makes for tough work in areas where one handed reach was required.It comes in a nicely labeled box with some of the parts still needing to be installed. Included was the trimmer, forward handle with button, safety guard, manual,screwdriver, a pair of gloves and safety glasses. (But no battery)Now they did say in the advert that no battery was supplied but, with an off brand device of this kind and the price that they are asking, a battery should have been part of the set. Add this price to the cost of a battery and charger and you are approaching the Big Boys that include batteries. Hence, my reasoning for only 4 stars. If you are fortunate to have one of the batteries this is one very good option for a trimmer. I would order it again.
