Algoma Net 405300 Butterfly Chair for Indoor/Outdoor, Camping, Bonfires, Bedrooms, Black Frame with Natural Cover

I considered some welded iron reproduction butterfly chairs for four times this price. So glad I found these. Ordered four and they arrived in less than a week. Were tough to initially unfold the legs -- one chair was nearly impossible for both me and my husband. They are lightweight and easy to pick up and move around. We put them on our front porch.We live in the desert so rain isn't a concern. However, sprinklers have hit them a few times, but they show no signs of rusting. Just wish they didn't have the blocky metal pieces on the legs that interrupt the clean lines of the chair. These pieces don't seem to be functional.Of the four chairs, one is unsteady/wobbly and only 3 of the four legs rest on the ground. It also has to be pushed open fully each time we sit in it -- we figure this must be the one that was so hard to open. We've been to busy to exchange it for another through Amazon.The canvas covers fit perfectly, slide on and off with easy and can be removed and shaken off as needed with minimal effort.The seats of the chairs are larger than we thought they would be, which contributes to the comfort and also the look of quality. These are the kind of chairs you can sit in for hours without shifting around and feeling uncomfortable. They are fairly easy to get into and out of.Overall, we are extremely happy with these chairs and so pleased with ourselves for finding them at such a great price. I highly recommend these chairs!

I bought two of these chairs for the front porch of my mid century house. They probably aren't made to be kept outdoors on an uncovered porch and they take alot of weather abuse, especially with the heat, humidity, and rain of the Florida climate. Despite this, they have held up pretty well. The frames have gotten a bit of surface rust at the joints only (which is to be expected outside) so they have some issues opening and closing, but that is nothing a little WD-40 can't fix. If you keep them outside, I recommend that you wash the canvas covers a few times before using because the cloth has a coating that repels water, which also causes water to pool in the seat if it rains...but this is removed with a few washings, and then water does not pool. The fabric also begins to attract mildew, so I wash with bleach on a regular basis.All in all, I am impressed that they are able to hold up to the outside weather, and not to mention, are very comfy for sitting and curling up with a book.

Comfy, sturdy, and classy looking. I put a cowhide pillow to add some flavor. I love the chair.

I love this chair. They are like sitting in a hammock. The frames have gotten cheaper the metal softer since I had first ordered one several years ago, but the canvas covers are still nice.

This is the second butterfly chair I bought for our mid-century modern landscape! I love them both, and they are as represented in the picture. Good quality and excellent service.

I love these butterfly chairs for their simplicity, and classic design (Note that I have a tendency to choose design over comfort). They are probably not the best thing for your back, but for loafing a while on the porch in the sun... wonderful. I would love to buy these in red or other bright color, but since most bright colors fade quickly, I went for natural. I dropped this review one star because it seems the manufacturer no longer offers natural.

These chairs seem to be solid and well-made. Time will tell, but for now, we're very satisfied with our purchase.
