Don't be so salty 😉
Never thought that I'd become a middle aged cliché of watching my sodium intake, sugar, cholesterol, etc but here we are. Unfortunately, hypertension runs in my family, so after being scared out of my wits at my last annual I took it upon myself to go low sodium diet in tandem with my medications. After weeks of plain food or Mrs dash on most things, I had had enough and started looking for something to give my tastebuds a semblance of hope again. After browsing salt substitutes to no avail, I stumbled upon this brand. Now $15 for 10oz isn't something I'd ish out for no dang salt, but you know, health. After muddling over things, I ordered it. The packaging is decent because my clumsy butt knocks things over without thinking twice but it remains closed. The taste? Alone, salty from the sea salt, but cooling from the potassium salt if that makes sense. Not bitter at all, which is something I heard other brands suffer from. Also not bitter in any actual applications like cooked proteins or soups/stews. It actually does act like normal table salt and fine enough to sprinkle over your popcorn too! Yay! Reporting in a few months after purchase and yeah it works, but of course not alone but with the help of medicine and diet adjustment my blood pressure numbers have indeed went down. Last check was 112/73. HOLY BLEEP. Are. You. Kidding. Me?! No, I'm not kidding me, this is true. And since I can be a bit tight with portion sizes (force of habit), I've barely put a dent in the container. It's been months and it still remains full. Most of all, 140mg per 1/4 tsp serving....swoon. This is my holy grail. GOATed and king of my spice rack. I will say one last thing though, check with your doctor before use because certain BP medicines do contain potassium, ie Losartan, so make sure you have the ok to use this, because we want our numbers to be low, but honey, not 'shuttled off to ER' low. Know what I'm saying? Anyway, great product. 10/10 will use again!

Good taste 140mg salt
It is a good taste salt and is 140 sodium that is the low dosage recommended by my nutritionist. The old cap had one side with holes more little help me to controle the amount desire to use. I kept my old cap and I am using with my refills.

Taste is good when sprinkle on foods. But not for cooking
Nice substitute for real salt. Not good to use in cooking as it leaves a metalic taste.

Great Stuff, But Decant it into a Better Shaker
I'm making an effort to eat healthier food while still enjoying my meals, so I didn't want to forgo salt altogether. This stuff is great. I bought the 75% potassium salt version, which is a substantial reduction in sodium, and yes, I can tell the difference tasting it straight. However, on many foods I cannot tell the difference at all. For example, on greens salads and soups, it tastes the same to me. As a bonus, it's a source of potassium, a necessary nutirent in addition to being lower in sodium. I suggest trying it on a single bite each time you try it with a new food as potassium salt tastes awful on some foods. I'm satisfied with the price--seems a good value. However, take heed from me and other reviewers about the size of the holes in the container. They're WAY too large, making it completely impractical. It's an odd oversight for an otherwise great product. I've been dispensing some into my hand, then adding pinches of it to my dishes, then pouring the remaining stuff back in. I plan to put this in a regular salt shaker so I don't have to keep doing this. I will buy this again!

Misrepresented potassium content?
This salt tastes good. My only real complaint up to this point has been that it is so fine (would prefer a coarser grain). That's not really a problem, though, as I just pour it into my hand first, so that I can control how much I'm using. My main complaint is what I'm seeing on the label. I have a bottle of this that I bought previously, and it clearly stated that 1/4 teaspoon had 470mg of potassium. The label is now showing 180mg. What gives?Which is the truth? Is the label on the one I've got here incorrect?

I’ll use this salt for life. Zero sodium
Will keep buying although its a big size so it’ll be awhile. It had the best additives for good taste. The other potassium products use magnesium oxide which stinks and causes inflammation.

One of the best salt substitues I've tried
After trying many "salt substitutes" that tasted nothing like salt, I went searching for something better and this is it. That said, I can only give it 4 stars because of the ridiculous price. I'll be trying Aromasong's version of this when I run out. It has slightly more sodium content but is a much better value.
