Is Nintendo gonna make more than 10 of these? 
Secondly, is Amazon gonna put up the preorder at 4am on a Sunday night so that i wake up too late?

Nintendo will probably distribute ten to each store and Amazon will schedule pre-orders to start at 12:00 noon and then actually start them the day before at 1:16 PM so that by the time the actual time comes around for them to be pre-ordered, they'll all be gone. Then, three months later, as we're eagerly awaiting another shipment so that our family's dreams won't be crushed anymore, Nintendo will announce that they've discontinuing the product, at which point the eBay scalpers will raise their price from $600 to $1000+. From there we will either resort to emulation, thereby telling Nintendo that they can suck it and we hate them (but not really we're just salty), or we will continue to grovel and wait for the Mini N64 Classic, which will be sold at a higher price if it ever even becomes a reality.

Will we ever have a chance to buy this? Or will scalpers take over the server?

Well so far it sucks, all that is available is $200+ offers from scalpers on Amazon and ebay. Screw that, if those are all that are going to be available, then Nintendo can suck the big one, I refuse to pay more than the $80 that this thing is supposed to cost. Heck, it's a nostalgic novelty, not a freakin' state of the art gaming console!!! Plus, all you scalpers out there, you can kiss my a$$, ok?

How long are the controller cords?

It's 5 feet but IF I happen to get one of these consoles, I plan on cutting the wire from the controller, scotch taping rotary phone cord to the wire and gluing it back to the controller. I will then have 30-175 foot range with this upgrade.
