My boyfriend loves survivor and I got the game for him and he loves it! It’s perfect for family game nights or just for fun! It’s an easy to learn game so anyone can join. The colors on it are beautiful and everything it great quality. It’s a great game to make everyone laugh and strategize. The pace of the game varies every time. And I love that you actually get to vote people off just like the show with the voting section included within the box!

Buy the game! Whether you are a Survivor fan or not, it’s fun, easy to play and the set up keeps the game flowing as to not drag on. My sister and I are huge Survivor fans so I bought for us to play over the holidays. My husband and brother know the premise of Survivor but have never watched and we all have loved playing and have laughed so hard the entire time! As a Survivor fan, they did such a good job with this, incorporating fun advantages and games and the voting box and lay out of tribal council is so fun.

I was cautiously optimistic given that this game is an adaption of the TV shows and could have been a money grab, but this game is so much fun and the game design was clearly thoughtful. All of the pitfalls I was most worried about were addressed, with the exception that I think they could do an expansion pack to allow more players. The game very much encourages players to get really into making alliances and strategizing on where to put votes during deliberation. Also, here’s a tip: don’t let anyone make it to final three with both lives in tact if playing a game with 6 people. They are guaranteed a spot in the final 2. UPDATE: I regret to say that I don't play this game as much as I'd like only because of one big downside: emotions. Votes are taken very personally because you are by and large playing with friends and family who do not take it well when you vote them off or don't vote for them to win. Imagine this scenario: you are on the jury, playing around the holidays when stress is often higher than normal, and the final two is your spouse and your mom and you are the deciding vote for the winner after a cut throat game. In short, be ready for hurt feelings and not getting to play this game as much as you would like.

A lot of fun! Bought this as a gift for my husband who is a super fan. Our family watches Survivor regularly and the game didn't disappoint. Rules were easy to understand and get the hang of after a few rounds. Be warned though, tensions can pretty high if you're competitive!

Quality is as expected for a game. Overall game play is a blast. We have played this several times with the family and at game nights with strangers. The hardest part to remember is that there basically no rules. Ok really only 3 rules and then "house rules" The 3 rules are 1) steal a card 2) play or not to play a card 3) draw a card. in that order. if a card is played just follow the instructions. Some house rules that we played with is that one must play the advantage card (except the idol) if they have one at a tribal counsel. We have also played it were one can decide if they want play the advantage or not. We like when we force the advantage play style better as it really made the game fun and unpredictable. It also kept from everyone trying to play an advantage at the end of the game. Complete blast.

This game is beautifully stupid in the best possible way. Imagine all the trust issues of Survivor crammed into a deck of cards with cats that explode. Within ten minutes, alliances were formed, promises were broken, and my family was accusing each other of treachery like we were playing for beachfront property instead of bragging rights. Every round starts with smiles and ends with someone fake-crying, someone else demanding a rematch, and me realizing I raised a bunch of competitive sociopaths. But that’s the charm — you’ll laugh, you’ll scream, you’ll swear off humanity, then shuffle again because you’re addicted to the chaos. The cards are hilarious, the gameplay is fast, and the entire experience feels like emotional cardio. It’s Survivor meets Animal Planet with a dash of therapy homework. Five stars, because any game that makes my family question their morals and still ask for “one more round” deserves it.

I got this as a gift for my mom who loves survivor. We played it with the family and everyone had fun! It’s a game you can kind of learn to play just as you get going which is kind of nice. Once they game gets going, and you know what all the cards mean, it’s a lot of fun.

Weird game play Much like exploding kittens - so you need to be young and immature or maybe have a few drinks in your system or have a very dramatic players to spice it up. The game is a bit predictable. We are survivor fans but like a more traditional style game. This one may not live in the gas cupboard forever Box takes up tons of space for essentially a deck of cards
