I wasn’t sure I needed these brush cleaning pads to wash out my brushes. In the past I typically put a little soap in the palm of my hand and swirled and rinsed…and swirled and rinsed… and swirled and rinsed… until the water ran clear. It took a while to get the old makeup and soap out. I used the same basic approach with these- a little liquid soap and water...swirl on the cleaning pad texture and rinse... Yes! Most of my brushes were clean in a few seconds rather than a few minutes.Both cleaning pads were equally effective. My preference was the one you hold in your hand. The strap on the back allows you to put your hand through it from either direction which meant I could change directions based on which brush I was cleaning and which texture I thought may clean it the best. I also prefer to put my hand under the running stream of water to rinse. As an added bonus I was able to use the back side with the handle for a “drying rack”. The stationary pad is nice for a sink that has a hose sprayer.The quality of these pads are excellent “exsoullent” is more than just a name. They look and feel sturdy, as though they should hold up for a long time.

This is a must buy purchase if you use makeup brushes. These two products will help you clean your brushes quickly and efficiently. I used to clean my brushes by rubbing them into a bar of soap and then rub bristles against my palm. Now I rub the bristles against the textured patterns on this silicon mat. It's fast and easy. I really like this for cleaning my foundation brushes. What makes this even better are the suction cups, which you can use to attach to your sink to keep the mat from moving when you rub the brush against it. Also check out the how to video I. YouTube. After comparing different brands this was for sure the best, first the quality of the product is really good, the price was reasonable considering it comes with 2 of them (orange and purple) plus you don’t have to pay $5.99 for the standard shipping because shipping is also FREE for non-primer members like me. Loved this make up brush cleaning mats. They are easy to attach to the sink and clean away all the make up residue that might be hard to reach. I am using the small pad for my makeup brushes and gave the apple shaped one to my daughter who loves to paint. We are both happy with this purchase.

Bought this as a lightning deal item.It sticks to the inside of your sink and all the different types of grooves and shapes help to remove built up makeup residing in all types of your brushes. It's so satisfying to wash them and observe as the water runs muddy and then clear. This is a great item if you are looking for an easy way to keep your makeup brushes clean and healthy.

I really like this product. I like the different areas for different brushes. It cleaned my brushes really easily. The silicone feels like it’s a good quality and the price is right. I plan on regularly using this to help preserve my brushes and to protect my skin.
