Bought this as I already had the kettle and was waiting for my old toaster to die before getting this one. Sage products are a bit more expensive but you get what you pay for. They are very sturdy and worth the price. I think they look good too.

The toaster is beautifully designed and built (I absolutely love its retro look), makes various kinds of toasts well, and Amazon's customer service was flawless.

It would have had a higher rating if it toasted bread evenly. One side always browner than the other and often patchy. It's a good locking toaster, slow to heat up but better than some I've tried. I'm sticking with this one because finding a truly efficient and effective toaster is impossible. We have a Sage smart oven and hoped that this toaster would perform as well (should have known better - it's a toaster), and last as long.

The automatic toaster function stopped working after a couple of months. Really lovely toaster so disappointing

Not a cheap toaster but we are very pleased with its look, it’s extra toasting options and it is happily very good at toasting brown bread.

I hate this dam toaster! It doesn’t toast properly so you put it back down and it burns every dam time! Waste of money if you bake your own sourdough . So disappointing!
