This is a boring, generic team. I was first interested in reading this because of the new DC movies/ show relaunch. The group of heroes are boring, unoriginal and down right lame. I am surprised at all the positive reviews, because I really hate this book. Its random, confusing and uninteresting to say the least. I heard some rumors DC studios may cancel the project. They should really consider it.

Es ist wieder einmal nicht zu fassen, was hier für 10 € geboten wird. Ein fettes Buch mit den ersten 12 Issues der AUTHORITY Reihe. Habe ich mir nie zugelegt und bin jetzt sehr froh diesen Klassiker genießen zu können. Danke, DC !

The Authority is, essentially, the Justice League cranked up to eleven. The threats they face are, suitably, also cranked up to eleven - and the Authority must be willing to put ethics/morality aside in order to survive, let alone win. Warren Ellis is a genius when it comes to deconstructing and then rebuilding forms and tropes - whether it be superheroes, noir, science fiction or all three at once. The Authority: Relentless is Ellis at his best - and the art, by Bryan Hitch and Philip Jimenez, matches the scope of Ellis' imagination.
