So I've been using it for a week straight now and HOLY COW is it helpful—I've used 2 others straps like this, but they just fell off. This one is so fantastic and stays on the whole night! My face shape is also improving already! I have a deviated septum, so I use this in tandem with nasal strips—I'd started with just the nasal strips, but they didn't prevent my mouth from opening in the middle of the night. So I got the mouth tape next, but using that put me in a panic since I couldn't exhale out of my mouth at all. With this strap, I'm still able to exhale out of my mouth if I feel the need to and have been sleeping SO much better! For the people who say the strap doesn't work: if you haven't tried already, I HIGHLY recommend pairing it with nasal strips or the mute nostril thingies. There's a good chance you're not seeing results because you're still forced to breathe through your mouth most of the night since doing it through your nose isn't as effective.

The concept is great, but the actual device is not comfortable in the least. Factor in having a beard...makes it even worse. Just no!

Excellent materials, craftsmanship and it fit well. But be absolutely certain you don't put it on too tight. I did. It inflamed my neck muscles. I HAD to go to the doctor. He gave me muscle relaxers. It took me a week to get back to normal. And, the doctor bill was far more than the strap.

It is made with a wide strap across the lower part of the head and it is wide enough that it is very comfortable not like another one that had a more narrow strap there at the back of my neck that seemed to need more tightening to be effective and caused me a pain and although similar in construction to the last one I was using this one keeps my mouth closed better and the part under your chin is wider which is good and works better for me. The construction is good and the material is good as it is not foam and I had developed an allergy to the others that I have tried with the stretchy foam. With those I started getting red spots on my face in certain spots but when I quit using them and switched to this one the spots went away and have not returned. I will be using this one from now on. Thankfully, it feels much better and is more effective.

This is the third time we have purchased this chin strap. It works great for my husband, who has sleep apnea, and for allows me to get a restful nights sleep. It's washable (I place it in a linen bag), which makes it last longer, but priced reasonably enough that we can buy more once it wears out.

Does not hold your mouth closed and does not prevent snoring

I’ve used this product for about seven months now and it absolutely is the best chin strap I have ever used. No more waking up in the morning with an unbearably dry mouth and throat. It keeps your mouth comfortably closed. This product is easy to put on, very comfortable to sleep with and stays in place. I use CPAP therapy with a nasal pillow and found I often slept with my mouth open causing great discomfort upon awakening. With this product, that doesn’t happen anymore. The material is breathable and very light weight. No more waking up in the morning with a sweaty face or breakouts like other chin straps caused. I can use my nighttime products such as moisturizers etc. without them feeling heavy on my skin like they did where the previous chin straps touched my face. It’s easy to hand wash and dries quickly. Be sure to wash it first before using otherwise it can leave black streaks on your pillowcase. The black streaks do wash out easily but for sanitary reasons we really should be washing the strap first before using. It’s held up very well and shows no signs of wear. I would highly recommend this product.

Pros: it has some really good Velcro that won’t accidentally turn loose. It’s comfortable considering it’s a chin strap. You can adjust it as tight as you need. Cons: the top part was too long for my head and overlapped enough for the end to touch my ear. The back part is a little too short to cover all the Velcro and allows the hook part to want to stick to the pillow case. I trimmed the end of the top part and put super glue on the edges to keep them together. I use it often. I’m sure it will fit some people’s head with no problem.

If you have facial hair, it becomes quite painful to wear a after a few hours. Additionally it doesn’t really help snoring

Item arrived quickly and in good condition. However, only used once as my partner said it made my snoring much worse.
