I got this rower a few days ago. Here is my review so far. Assembly was fairly easy. No problems there. I am 5’9” and the range is perfect. My shoe size is 9.5 and my feet fit perfectly in the foot pedals. I used a little funnel to add distilled water to the tank. It took around 3 gallons to fill to the max line. I have found the workouts to be great. Since I am not a rower I have to take breaks but even after a few short days (and one rest day) I can tell I am getting stronger. The rowing works up a sweat. You cannot manually change the levels so I just adjust my effort. The quality is better than I expected and it looks good in my apt. When storing, the wood looks nice next to my red brick walls. Feels expensive and I love that aesthetic. It folds up nicely. I wish the wheels were a little better for rolling around but maybe I am not doing it right. As of now I would recommend if you are looking for an inexpensive rower and a beginner. I’ll try to remember to make a review after a few months.

My rower was delivered with care. The machine was easy to put together, as I did it all myself! It's high quality as far as I can tell. The seat is very thick and comfortable to sit on. It folds up and doesn't take the space of a dining chair! I love the sound of the water as I'm rowing, it's easy to get lost in it so I put myself on a timer since I'm a beginner. It's easy for me to move around as I've got health issues so that's a huge plus. As for resistance, I can't speak on that yet, as I only filled it to the minimal amount of water. until I get stronger. I've wanted one of these since the show House of Cards aired and now I have one. I do not see this becoming a clothes rack like other machines do. It definitely puts me in my happy placed. The price is reasonable too, especially being a water rower. Be sure to check out the Merach app, as I use it to time my rows.

I love how this full-size rowing machine folds easy to stow in my bedroom, and unfolds almost as well for use. It has all the features I wanted (solid foot pedals, room to reach forward to complete stroke, adjustable resistance and self-adjusting resistance with speed). It was not too expensive, and not too hard to put together. The water rushing sound is very relaxing, and the quality of exercise unbeatable. That said, this machine arrived with four ugly holes drilled into the wood, and having read in other reviews holes needed to be re-drilled, I went crazy looking for screws and fittings to make things work. Finally I realized that there were good holes in the right place, and just covered over the unsightly mess with some contac paper. If I had not had previous experience with Merach, I would have returned the machine and sought a replacement. But, having purchased a prior, more expensive machine that did not do what they claimed (fold), I knew that there customer service bends over backwards to not accommodate customers, so I kept the machine I had. I honestly wish this machine was the one I picked first, because it does everything I need in a tiny space. I searched a long time to find something that works well at home without taking up too much space, and this is the best choice for me.

Packaged very very well, the hardest part of the whole assembly is getting it unpacked! Very easy to assemble, even with the paper directions it comes with, there are videos available if needed. The machine itself is a low on the floor basic rower, no frills but works very well. I have long legs, 34” inseam and it fits me very well, seat never reaches the end of the rails. It is very quiet except for the water sloshing sound which is very therapeutic. Sounds like rowing a boat on a lake. Folds up easily and as listing says it takes up about the same amount of space as a dining chair. Smooth roller blade style wheels, will not damage wood floors. Excellent base model rower, very happy with it.

This is an amazing rower for the price. The water doesn’t leak. The seat has a smooth glide. The resistance is great. It folds perfectly for small spaces. It’s been a great addition to my workout routine. A great way to mix cardio and a little strength training for that all in one full body workout. Especially if you’re pressed for time.

Easy to set up, everything lines up and feels solid, and it runs smooth. Listening to the water sloshing is gratifying for a workout. Not bothering with the app, so I can't speak to that. Use distilled water in the tank to help keep it as clean as possible. Took one 2.5-gallon jug to fill it to about resistance level two. The included USB-powered transfer pump makes adjusting the level really easy, and it doesn't take much to adjust resistance levels. The lip at the bottom of the screen unit is perfect for plopping in your phone to watch YouTube/Netflix/whatever while you row (extra thick phone cases might not slot in so well). Seems like a great product for the price. Nice way to get a decent low-impact workout if you live in an apartment and don't want to be making a bunch of noise tromping on a treadmill or shuffling weights around.

The rowing machine itself is a 5 star. Great value, very smooth, easy to assemble. Love it. The monitor and the app and especially the instructions for the monitor and the app are absolutely useless. Whoever wrote the instructions as all but zero understanding of English. The phone app is terrible. The machine is more than worth the cost.

The BEST money I've spent on my personal fitness, excellent quality. Only takes minutes to assemble. The foot holder could be wider at bottom for sneakers but I just use it barefoot. An hour a day and I'm showing fantastic gains in just days. I couldn't be happier with my purchase, definitely recommend.
