Affordable Pigeon Solution!
Recently found a pigeon in our office building! Seems they have taken a liking to the place. Managed to coax that one back outside, but then, reviewing the premises, found several nesting and perching spots, with a lot of messy bird droppings, and a constant cooing sound where they had cozied up to several spots in the eaves.A professional pest remover was going to cost hundreds, or even more, so went online and good old Amazon stocks this product. It's basically just a very sticky substance that the birds don't like, since they can't comfortably nest. So, a deterrent to them settling in to stay. This was incredibly effective. Shooed them away from their various spots, laid down some beads of this stuff, following the provided instructions, and they came back to each spot just once, encountered this product, and promptly took off, and did not return. A few of them lost a few feathers, but none of them got stuck or trapped. They have not been back since, and we applied this in late April (is now nearly June). It has survived sun and rain and, even if another application is needed, it's very easy to apply, just using a standard caulking gun.Less than twenty bucks, only used one tube to solve our pigeon problem and still have two tubes left if they ever come back -- saved us a minimum pest removal cost of over $300, and, considering they said it could cost a thousand dollars, up to several thousand or more to "bird proof" our building, this was a massive cost savings!Very thankful to have come across this remedy.DISCLAIMER: No pigeons were harmed in the use of this product, or in the writing of this review! ;-)

This sticky gel really works
I got a $1500 bid from a company back in March to put up wire and treat the wall around my roof line and my entry way. I applied 5 tubes of this gel and yes it's sticky and messy as hell but it works! The birds land in it and don't want to come back. It's worked for 6 months and now new birds are starting to land in areas that I didn't treat the 1st time so I'm purchasing 3 more tubes to take care of them. Great product.

GREAT STUFF WITH SOME CAVEATS
I AM SANDWICHED IN A ROW HOUSE BETWEEN NEIGHBORS WHO FEED THE BIRDS BREAD., SO, I AM PLAGUED BY HOARDS OF BIRDS. THE BIRDS WOULD SIT ON THE WROUGHT IRON FENCE OF MY PATIO OHH ...10 TO 12 BIRDS AT A TIME ON 2 SIDES OF MY 4 SIDED FENCE, ON THE REGULAR AND JUST DO THEIR BUSINESS LIKE IT WAS LITERALLY A BATHROOM. I NEVER UNDERSTOOD THAT GROUP THING. ANYWAY, I WENT NUTS TRYING DETERRANTS...PREDATOR DECOYS, SPINNERS, OILS, SPRAYS, HOME REMEDIES...YOU NAME IT. I HESITATED TRYING THIS GEL FOR FEAR OF BIRDS GETTING STUCK AND THE MESS. HERE IS THE REVIEW WITH THE CAVEATS THAT PREVENT IT FROM BEING A 5 STAR ITEM. I DECIDED TO SPREAD IT ALLLL AROUND ON EACH LITTLE 5 ISH INCH SECTION OF MY FENCE (DESPERATION) AS WELL AS ON THE BOTTOM WRUNG SECTIONS...I USED A CRAFT STICK AND A MEDIUM COATING, NOT THICK SO AS NOT TO GET THEM STUCK, BUT BOTHERED. WELL, IT TOOK A FEW DAYS BECAUSE OF THE MAGNITUDE OF BIRDS I AM DEALING WITH, BUT ONCE A BIRD LANDED ON MY FENCE ONCE, THEY DID NOT COME BACK. THEY MUST HAVE TOLD THEIR BUDDIES TOO. I GET TICKLED SOMETIMES WHEN I SEE THEM REMEMBER ABOUT THE GEL ON THE FENCE AND CHANGE DIRECTION MID AIR. THEY STILL SWOOP AND FLY DANGEROUSLY CLOSE TO MY HEAD, BUT, THEY DO NOT USE MY FENCE FOR THEIR BATHROOM, ANYMORE. IT IS THE MOST EFFECTIVE THING I HAVE FOUND.THE CAVEATS: 1. IT IS VERY STICKY AND NOT EASILY REMOVED SO IT LOCKS THEM OUT, BUT, LIMITS MY USE TOO. 2.THE BIRDS AND SQUIRRELS HAVE MESSED UP MY FURNITURE COVERS TRYING TO GET THE GEL OFF OF THEM. 3. I HAVE TO KEEP GOING OUT TO CLEAN OFF THE FEATHERS AND MISC THAT ARE CAUGHT...BUT WORSE, THE ZILLION INSECTS CAUGHT.. (YUCK)..WHAT CAN I SAY..I BOUGHT SOME MORE.... GOOD LUCK.

Got rid of pigeons nesting under solar panels!!!
This stuff has legitimately worked on our pigeon problem. We had solar panels put in last summer and didn't think to get them surrounded with the chicken-wire-type obstruction. As a result, this spring a LOT of pigeons decided to make homes underneath our panels (~4 inches of space between the panels and the roof). I've been up twice and disbursed them, and got rid of their nests, but they just came back. This was a pretty bad problem at my house because there were about 15 to 20 pigeons living under my solar panels and pooping SO MUCH poop in my backyard, where my 4 small children play.Anyway, I bought this stuff after getting rid of their nests twice. I went up a third time and used a little caulk gun to lay this stuff down in little zig-zag patterns all around the perimeter of my solar panels, NOT on them, on the roof tiles around the sides, so they couldn't get underneath the panels without wading through it. It was a little difficult and a little scary to crawl around all over my roof doing this, but it took a lot less time and was a LOT cheaper than installing chicken wire. I have to say this: I thought the initial results were disappointing. The pigeons returned and were all strutting around on my roof within a few hours of my finishing. I was SO pissed. However, after about an hour of trying to figure out how to get back under the solar panels they decided they didn't like the sticky stuff and they left. There were 2 birds that toughed it out and got back under the solar panels, but I think they really didn't like the sticky stuff either because once they were under there, they wouldn't leave. It was about 2 days before they decided they were hungry enough to push back through it and left for good. I can claim that 2 weeks later NO PIGEONS HAVE RETURNED!I am very pleased with this stuff so far, but if it doesn't last very long and the pigeons come back within a month or so, I'll get back on here and amend my rating.
