Who knows, it might work.
A blue blinking light to deter thieves (?) Maybe it will work! So let’s take a look at this product by ELECTOP from two different perspectives, the first one being the product itself and secondly from a practicality standpoint.(The product)So overall I’m satisfied with this product. It has dual charging modes, both of which work. It can be shut off via a small switch if need be and it has double sided tape on it for mounting. In respect to the double sided tape, which says 3 M on it, I seriously doubt it is actual 3M tape. Temperature wise it’s been in the single digits at night, and as long as it’s sunny during the day to charge the battery, it has worked fine despite the cold.(Practically)I don’t mean to ruin people’s day, but if you think this product is going to save your vehicle from being broken into or outright stolen, then I would say it’s wishful thinking. What I see this product being used for is to make my vehicle less inviting and someone else’s vehicle more inviting (sorry neighbor).I did test the dusk to dawn mode, and it did turn itself off during the day and back on at night. In respect to the blinkers solar charging capabilities, I’m still waiting to see how things will go should we get several consecutive days of overcast skies.Next comes mounting locations, one of the photos for this product shows it being mounted on the backside of the rear view mirror. This is a great location for charging, but not so much so once you start driving down the road at night and the light keeps blinking. And yes I know there is a switch on it, but it’s a pain to switch on and off via such a small switch if located on the backside of the mirror. What I’ve been doing is just tossing it in the center console until needed.Next comes the brightness of the flash. I find it adequate for its intended purpose. If you're near the vehicle it’s noticeable, yet not so overpowering that it looks like a Christmas tree.I’m giving this blinker four out of five stars. The only reason being I almost always take one star away is because this product is brand new, and I have no way of telling how well it will hold up over time. So overall I like this blinker, mechanically it functions as advertised, practicality wise I’m a little more sceptical.

great faux alarm lights
I don't live in a high crime area, but we do have car break-ins at night here and there. And since I park my truck outside, I wanted a little extra precaution, so I got these as a deterrent. Can't really say much other than I've never had an issue, whether at home, at hotels, or overnight lots at the airport. They're a good look and don't stand out from the normal black interior of my 2019 Silverado.

Garbage purchase
GARBAGE. IT didn't worked right out the box. I didn't bother to returned because it would cost me more my time and effort than the purchased. I felt robe and taken by this garbage product.

Pretty cools
I have no idea if this deters crime or not, but it does work as advertised with regard to the way the lights work. It has a blinking blue light that is supposed to show a bad guy that the system is armed. Then if you bump the car, it flashes red. Since it is solar operated, I placed it in a location that is not too obtrusive, but still gets light from the sun (side of steering column). In the dark you can definitely see the flashing light

Too bright for my liking.
These both worked for me, but it's just not the best implementation. The brightness is way too much, and you have to manually turn them off when driving at night. I wanted to put one on my dash and one in my back window. Too much hassle. Also, it just looks like what it is especially due to the charging port on the side without a cover. Alarm systems are hardwired, and the port is easy to see when looking in.

Very bright
The media could not be loaded. Very bright. Almost annoyingly bright but luckily there’s a switch to turn it off while driving. I bought this to deter the crackheads that roam at night. It looks concealed and small which is good and will fit practically anywhere. The installation is easy with adhesive and the adhesive is beyond strong, it’s impossibly hard to move so once you place. The adhesive will stick there forever so beware. I only used one as the second one proved time consuming to turn off every time I enter the vehicle to drive at night, I placed it in the back and it flashed when looking at my rearview so I just removed it. The value for the money is great, you can use this in 2 different cars as it comes with 2. I have nothing negative to say about the battery life as it is still blinking in the morning when I leave from work. The alarm also provides a charging port but I will never need to use it as it is in a location where it acquires sun. It looks like it belongs in the car and it doesn’t stand out which is good for being concealed. Overall I think this will be a good addition to my vehicle that doesn’t have an alarm light and it has proved to so far fend off any prying eyes to my vehicle.

Realistic Dummy Alarm
This solar-powered dummy alarm is a clever and eco-friendly way to deter potential theft. The flashing blue LED light mimics a real car alarm, providing a visible warning to would-be intruders. Powered by solar energy, it eliminates the need for frequent battery replacements, and the USB charging port offers an alternative charging option for cloudy days. Its compact design makes it easy to install on various vehicle interiors. However, the light may not be bright enough to be highly visible in well-lit areas, which could reduce its effectiveness in certain conditions.Pros:Eco-friendly solar power with USB charging for convenience.Flashing blue LED light mimics a real car alarm for theft deterrence.Compact and easy-to-install design suitable for most vehicles.Low maintenance with no need for frequent battery replacements.Con:Light visibility may be limited in brightly lit environments.
