Useless
I despise these boots. I'm giving two stars due to price and and quality, which seem to be excellent. I'm taking away three stars because they are absolutely useless to me. These this are huge and have absolutely zero flex in them. Don't you dare expect to shift by lifting the front of your foot. With these boots on, you'll need to lift up your entire leg to shift....and that's if you can even fit the boot up under your shift lever. You can't feel a thing....can't feel the shift lever....can't feel the brake lever. These boots are so big and so stiff, they actually create a safety hazard because you lose all senses in your feet, you just have the feeling of huge boat anchors attached to your feet. I swear you could probably walk on the surface of Mars with these things. I've been riding for over 25 years and have always worn work/hiking boots for riding, but I decided I would finally get a proper pair of MC boots....I'll be going back to hiking boots.

Awesome boot for the price But!
I purchased for my son & he has been thrilled with them my only negative statement is some exterior screws have fallen out and some exterior plastic just fell off!Update: After writing a great review, we had three straps suddenly break off. I attempted to contact this vendor with no help given, O'Neal will not stand behind their product.

Great boots for the price!
After dropping my bike on my leg, I decided to upgrade from riding in hiking boots. I have about 80 hours of ride time with these boots. The boots were very stiff at first, but after a couple break-in tricks and a few rides they were comfortable. The fairly ridged sole makes standing on the pegs much more comfortable. The reinforcement on the sides of the boots making squeezing the bike with my legs much easier and I don’t have to worry about heat from the exhaust pipe. They keep my feet dry from splashes of water or light rain, but let water in quickly if partially submerged for a few second during river crossings. I also adjusted my shift lever so shifting with thick boot toe was easy. The longevity of the buckles is questionable but they haven’t broke so far and seem to be replaceable. These boots have done a great protecting me and there has been several occasions where I feel they have protected me from an injury that would have occurred without proper gear. I wear a 10.5 shoe and order size 10 boot and it was the right size for me. I think this a great boot for budget conscious people who need a solid pair of off road boots.

great value for the money
I bought these for Dual-Sport riding, and they work great. their are good videos on YouTube showing how to pre-break-in the boots before wearing them. took about 2 or 3 rides to really break them in, but they work great now. Dollar-for-dollar, a good value. these are not the most comfortable boot for walking around town in when stopped, but they are manageable. Protection is awesome, as i have dropped my motorcycle directly on my ankle and leg and suffered no injury to my leg or boot. i know i would have twisted or had injuries in my other softer Adventure boots.

If you are 8.5 on regular shoes. Get a size 9!!! Not size 8!!!
My husband's shoe size is 8.5 and i got him this Oneal boots size 8 last month because i read one of the customer's review to get a lower size. And i had to return&refund the boots because my husband said it hurts his toes. Lol... so i re-ordered the boots but a size 9 this time. And he is now very happy. And can't wait to use it this weekend 😆 August2020

They worked, but read to the end.
Used for trail riding by a novice rider. Very stiff and pinched my ankles when new but able to work it out with a softball inside and some walking around. Almost comfortable now. Sizing right on for my 2E feet. Like the fact that they didn’t attempt waterproof, at this price it would be a disaster and sweaty for my feet. Get wet feet easy in water crossings but they also dry with airflow. Just wear quality socks or plain wool socks and they work fine. Buckles work but suspect they might wear out soon. Easy on and off. Only have 10 rides or so on them. Had one crash and bike landed on my ankle. Didn’t break my leg so that is good however my riding day was done and I will probably miss riding for a few weeks. Felt like full weight of bike hit my ankle. Apparently this is a common crash scenario, I suspect a better pair might have allowed me to just keep riding. As it is I am spending money on X-rays and an ortho visit. Biggest con is owning these made me feel like I had good protection from a basic crash and I really didn’t. Biggest pro is I didn’t break my leg and was able to ride home. Painfully. The internet says don’t skimp on boots and I have to say, in my experience here, the internet was right. I don’t know if I can say they are better than nothing if they imply more protection than they deliver.

BEWARE : Company will charge you keep 20% of your item if you want a REFUND
This item didn't fit, I have wide feet and nothing that they sell comes in Wide. I hoped to make these boots work as money is limited and my budget included these nice looking boots. The boots are very durable, well built but didn't fit because I have "EW" Extremely Wide feet. So because they don't have wide boots that will fit my feet they are going to keep $22 of my total price of $105 for these boots. So beware : Before buying from MX South know that they charge you 20% if you want your money back, not good customer service especially for Amazon.

I should have bought these 40 years ago.
My first ever pair of motocross boots at 49 years old. I LOVE EM'!!! If you ride dirt bikes, 4 wheelers, enduro bikes, etc. and you don't have a pair of these, you're missing out. It's like riding with Iron wrapped around your leg. Limbs, the bike and all of those other nasty things that like to reach out and grab you just bounce right off, including snakes when your walking. My son tipped his bike over on his right leg the other day, exhaust side down, and if it wasn't for his boots, that would have been one nasty burn. On the con side, they're hard as heck to walk in so be prepared. After a few days of wearing them though, you'll be a pro and you'll even be running in them.

Excellent
The fit well, I have really wide feet and these boots are perfect and comfortable. Waterproof at least up to 8" of water. I usually wear a size 10.5/11 shoe, so I ordered these boots in 11 and they fit to the size. I would definitely buy again.

Built like a tank. Built for a duck.
First impression - these boots are sturdy! Built like a bank vault, big and STIFF. I got size 14, and the bottom foot part fit well, and seemed comfortable. However, the calves were far too narrow for me, I could not even get the boots closed, at the maximum opening. While I do have muscular calves, so do a lot of men with size 14 feet. I don't even exercise! These may have been meant for a duck - (big feet, skinny legs)So the boots were unusable, and were sent back (for full refund, no hassle)

Best Purchase
I am shocked at the quality of these boots! I myself am a dirt biker and purchased these for my BF for Christmas. Very well made, easy to buckle. Quite stiff as they will need to be broken in first. The cost of these boots to purchase was unreal. I have purchased many riding boots myself via department stores and can tell you I have never found any this cheap! The fact that they have steel toe plates is an extra bonus as only Thor really makes that style now a days. Is definitely harder to find. I wouldn’t recommend for street riding, however I am not specialized in that sport. Due to their thickness and quality I don’t see them breaking in enough for that, only trail riding. Best purchase ever I would definitely consider ordering myself a pair. Seems to be wide enough for wider feet. Adjustable straps. Stylish, built to take on impacts.

Semble bien.

No water resistance, but do protect against impacts.
They certainly do protect my feet, ankles, and shins from stones, sticks, and other impacts, but, as other reviewers have mentioned, they tend to press in a most incomfortable way against the side of my ankles. They are also not the slightest bit water resistant. I drove through a puddle and the water went powering on into the boots, soaking my feet for the rest of the day. I wouldn't purchase this model of boot again...
