The best fit for post-op shoulder
I love this ice pack and would highly recommend it to anyone with shoulder issues or upcoming surgery. I bought two of them for post-surgery cold therapy, so I could rotate them and give them plenty of time to get cold. Before my surgery I bought three different shoulder ice packs, and this is the one that I chose to keep. The two others were both gel packs. One had fabric that came down on the chest and scapula, but no distribution of gel there - so no cooling. The other one did have gel down on the chest and scapula area, but when frozen it was too stiff and intractable to mold to the shoulder. Both of the gel ones were heavy and might have caused more pain with that weight on the post-operative shoulder. This one molds to the shoulder and is light enough to be comfortable. I even wore it to the gym the first two weeks after surgery, as I was allowed to do light cardio, but was cautioned not to sweat too much on the stitches. It kept my shoulder cool and comfortable. The Velcro straps hold it in place and are easy to attach even with one hand - I don't put the bottom strap through the ladder lock, but attach the Velcro to my arm sling making it much easier to get off and on. The straps are long enough for a heavy-set person, but easy to fold back on themselves to shorten.I think that they were well worth the money and considerably less expensive than the ice machine the doctor recommended. There were two small issues that I took care of "after market". They had a smell - like old stinky cheese; so, I gently washed them in the sink with dish soap and that got rid of it. Gravity makes the cubes slide down their rows eventually making clumps of cubes (you can see that in pictures 1 & 2); so, I hand sewed the rows horizontally to stop the cubes moving (you can see that in pictures 3 & 4). I just wish I had thought of that before my shoulder surgery when I had two good arms and hands.

Comfy and flexible!
I love the design of this cold compress for shoulders. The cubes are flexible and stay cold for a long time. My OT said to ice my shoulder until it turns numb and this does the job. It stays in place, and I’m able to move and do things while I wearing it. It was on sale for $25 and was worth the money compared with other designs. I have no idea why it is a frequently returned item. I adjust the lower strap first, slide my arm in and then put the two upper straps in pace. I think it’s easy to use, and there is Velcro on the straps. It has great coverage for my torn rotator cuff. I have not experienced any problems with leakage. Highly recommend!.

Bye bye achy shoulder
So when I pulled it out of the package I was a little confused about the little tiny squares. They're like little tiny Ice cubes stitched in between fabric. I thought this is going to be weird. However it was actually really nice. It held the cold for a really long time and got deep into those hard to reach places in my shoulder. My only complaint was that I think I might have gotten one too big for my shoulder. But it was easily remedied with a clip. Now other people who have larger arms than mine can use it. Bada bing bada boom

Best shoulder ice pack ever made.
I had shoulder replacement surgery and I cannot say how awesome this has been. It almost helps more than any medication I was prescribed. Knowing you should only ice for 20 min and be off for a few hours, I bought two and they were always cold and perfectly adjusted to fit. If you don't buy these you bought the wrong ones.

Works great!
It works great. Stays on and evenly distributes the cold, lasting a long time. It is comfortable enough that you can wear it to daily activities. Highly recommend.

It forms around the shoulder
I have had shoulder problems for 2 years and it was hard to find an ice pack. They were all very difficult to get it formed around the shoulder and they quit being cold after 15 minutes. This one firms perfectly around the shoulder and stats cold for about an hour and a half. I'm do glad I bought this.

Great Product!!
Purchased prior to rotator cuff surgery. Was looking at the ice machines but thought it was over kill. This worked perfect for me. Ice cold for a long period. Sometimes the cubes would shift and get out of place. Very easy to push them back where they belong.I recommend this for anyone going through the same surgery.

Pretty good, doesn't last as long as advertised though
Hurt my shoulder, got this ice pack, partially because of fast shipping, so was a little skeptical.I have a lot of experience with various kinds of ice packs and I love how flexible and conforming this one is, the fabric the little cubes are in is nice and stretchy.I was worried about the chest strap being too short, I'm a larger woman with disproportionately larger girls and there is PLENTY of strap. Would recommend for plus size/big & tall folks.Only giving four stars because the description says this thing stay colder longer, it does not, standard ice pack time... probably safer, once a truly ultra cold long lasting one give me second degree burns because I left it on too long. No chance of that with this one.Wish it was closer to $18-20 feels a little expensive for what you get. But doesn't everything these days?
