AC Compressor: 2003-2011 Compatible for Honda Element 2.4L Please clean The cooling system pipe of the your car ,Before installing the compressor.The oil content of itself can already meet the normal operation of the ac compressor. If the oil is added to the load, it will cause the compressor to vibrate or be damaged. Review: Pulley is bigger than the stock on the element. It will fit but it will be very tight - I'm giving it a 4 star because it was a pain to install. The engine subframe had to be dropped and belt slowly fed back on as the pulley was too big so it was like u were stretching the belt. Review: Will not accommodate stock serpentine belt!!! - I’m kicking myself because I bought this over a month ago but have been so busy that I waited until this last weekend to install it. The removal and install on a Honda Element is no easy endeavor. It barely fit between the subframe, engine, and the right front part of the body. And this is AFTER you take off the extra manifold on the Honda. After two hours of wriggling this thing out and getting the replacement in, my wife and I struggled for two hours to get the belt back on. Come to find out the pulley on this compressor is a 1/2” larger than the stock one. There is no way the stock belt will fit over this. It is advertised as 119mm, but was close to 140mm. There is no way I’m spending 4 more hours to get this thing back out. I had to order progressively larger belts until I found one that would fit. MEASURE FIRST!!!
