Small but insanely versatile — classic Olight quality
This little Olight absolutely punches above its weight. For such a compact clip-on flashlight, the output is impressive — 500 lumens is more than enough for everyday tasks, night walks, cycling, or quick emergency use. The multiple lighting modes make it surprisingly versatile, and switching between them is intuitive. The clip is strong and secure, and the magnetic base is incredibly handy. I’ve clipped it to a backpack strap, a bike, and even stuck it to metal surfaces when working hands-free. The rechargeable battery with USB-C charging is a huge plus, and battery life has been excellent so far. As expected from Olight, the build quality feels premium. It’s solid, well-finished, and doesn’t feel cheap at all. The orange color also makes it easy to spot in a bag or toolbox. Pros: • Bright 500-lumen output for its size • Multiple useful lighting modes • Strong clip and magnetic base • USB-C rechargeable • Excellent build quality Cons: • Small size means easy to misplace (not really a flaw) Overall, this is one of the most useful EDC lights I’ve owned. Compact, powerful, and thoughtfully designed — exactly what I expect from Olight.

Incredible little light
This light is incredibly tiny. I bought it to use for walking my dog at night, wanting something that both made us seen and would give me a little visibility ahead of us and it is perfect. It clips to pretty much anything and the clip is very strong, well jog a couple of miles and it won’t budge a millimeter. It has become I carry with me quite often though for several other purposes and I even got another one for my dad. The three light modes and power levels make it very versatile and its tiny size makes it easy to carry. The amount of light it puts out for its size is incredible. It seems a little expensive until you’re holding it, it has very solid feel and quality construction that actually feel above this price point in my opinion. Overall and absolutely amazing little light.

Excellent quality versatile flashlight with great clip and small form factor
This is truly and outstanding flashlight. Very versatile and very bright on the highest setting. The small form factor allows it to fit easily into a pocket, backpack, purse etc and the clip is strong and very useful. You can clip it to a belt, and backpack strap or even a ball cap.

Small and mighty!
Definitely bright! So far, this little flashlight seems to work pretty good. I haven't fully tested how long the battery will actually last, but, it seems to be built to last. I like that it is metal and not plastic. I keep it clipped to my jacket, at the moment. You can pretty much clip it to anything, given it's size and light weight. I also like the different modes/light options. I'll definitely consider getting the other model, as well.

OLIGHT Oclip Pro: The Ultimate Multi-Functional Clip Light
I bought the OLIGHT Oclip Pro because I was looking for a compact, hands-free lighting solution that offered more versatility than a standard keychain light. The promise of 500 lumens, along with dedicated flood, spot, and red light modes, made it seem like the perfect accessory for work, hiking, or just finding things in a dark garage. My first thought was that this small, rectangular body packs an unbelievable amount of functionality, finally bridging the gap between a headlamp and an EDC pocket light. Experience and Analysis The OLIGHT Oclip Pro lives up to its "Pro" designation by incorporating three distinct light sources into its compact, aluminum alloy body. The main feature is its intuitive control system: a push button for power/brightness and a rotary selector switch for choosing between the Floodlight, Spotlight, and Red Light channels. This rotary switch is a game-changer, making it fast and easy to pick the right beam for the task. The 500 lumen Floodlight is excellent for close-up work, offering a wide, even spread perfect for clipping to a shirt pocket or backpack strap for hands-free tasks. The Spotlight beam is surprisingly powerful, reaching up to 120 meters, which is fantastic for navigating trails or searching at a distance. The Red Light is a valuable addition for preserving night vision. The clip mechanism itself is robust, rated for 10,000 open/close cycles, and the light features a strong magnetic base, adding another layer of hands-free versatility. Charging via a waterproof USB-C port (covered by a sturdy metal flap, a big upgrade from older rubber covers) is convenient, and the 580mAh integrated battery provides a respectable 3.5 hours on the medium setting or up to 144 hours on moonlight. While the 500-lumen Turbo mode steps down quickly (about 1 minute) to manage heat, the sustained output (250-300 lumens) is more than sufficient for its size. For its price (typically around $40-$60), the build quality and feature set are excellent. Pros Three-in-One Versatility: Combines Flood, Spot, and Red light in one compact unit, covering all common lighting needs. Intuitive Controls: Dedicated rotary switch for channel selection makes operation fast and simple, a significant UI improvement. Superior Carry Options: Features a high-quality, magnetic clip and a strong magnet on the base for secure, hands-free attachment to almost anything. USB-C Rechargeable: Uses a standard, modern, and waterproof USB-C port for convenient charging. Cons Quick Turbo Step-Down: The maximum 500-lumen Turbo output only lasts for about 60 seconds before stepping down to a lower, sustained level. Complex UI Sub-Modes: Remembering the specific double/triple-clicks for Strobe and Beacon in different modes can be slightly confusing at first. Verdict The OLIGHT Oclip Pro is an absolutely phenomenal EDC light and is overwhelmingly worth the price. It earns a 5-star rating because it successfully combines the output of a small handheld flashlight with the utility of a magnetic work light and the convenience of a clip light, all in a durable, well-designed package. This light is best for anyone who needs a truly hands-free, multi-functional light that can be clipped to a hat, pocket, or magnetically attached to a car hood. It’s a huge step up in capability for the "clip light" category.

Nice light, but not what I was hoping.
**I'll start with the major downside is that clip and light aiming is not good for use on a baseball cap. Either light mode shines mostly at your face and upper chest, so it's not even really that useful for handsfree working at workbench or waist level. I really wanted this for a handsfree light for ice fishing but the light doesn't really extend beyond your feet. **I think this could be fixed by aiming the light a little more upwards, and then having the clip rotatable so clipping it on your hat would illuminate right in front of you. Clipping on a shirt pocket would also still project at a good walking distance. **The light is a little too heavy for a collar, unbuttoned shirt pocket, or on a partially zipped hoodie at chest level. The light just flops over since the battery is opposite of the clip side. **On the plus side, it does produce a very nice light and I really like the non-rubber USB flip out charge port. The clip also holds really well with it's rubber grips. **The backside magnet works pretty good, makes for a nice under-hood type light.
