A beast
This is every bit as good as the milwaukee 9" angle grinder. This thing has torque to spare. The vibration control is noticeable when compared to angle grinders from the '90s lacking that feature. It has just as much power as the old school grinders. The motor winders are all copper which is standard and the best. Having the tool stop when brushes are low is moderately useful, it will stop a spring from getting sucked into the engine potentially. The metal gear housing is standard for this grade of grinder. So is the side handle. A toolless adjustment guard is a must have in my opinion, frequent adjustments are required for almost any task. Tooled guards are just stupid I think, and some big grinders do use tooled guards. Cost saving at its worst because it's the thing you'll use most on the tool next to the trigger. They make one grade higher:Bosch 1994-6 9-Inch Large Angle GrinderBut it seems to me like more things can go wrong with that one. Call me old fashioned. This standard grinder will be able to handle pretty much any hand-held grinding application from a 9" concrete grinding cup to a 9" metal cutting wheel.Hope that helps.

missing pieces
I ordered two of these grinders and both came without the necessary parts to attach a grinding wheel.I have had dozens of grinders and have never had to purchase a backing plate and nut to fasten the discs on with separately.I called Bosch to see if they were supposed to come with these parts before returning the items and they were great.Told me they would send me the missing parts no problem.I will know how well the grinders work once I get my parts so I can use them, but be aware of this if ordering.

Bosch Quality All the Way
It’s a Bosch.... pretty sure this is the same grinder as the 7 in but with a 9in guard. Used it to grind concrete with diamond cup wheel and dust guard (7in). Ran for hours got hot and kept going. I’m not questioning it’s quality but time will tell. I think if it’s cared for it will last a good deal of time.

heavy machine...
...for professional use. The concept and quality of this angle grinder beats other brands. Well made in Germany! The former angle grinder from Bosch was working for almost 13 years. Now I have to replace the switch whichis damaged but I will put it back to work again!

Our 'work horse' grinder
We use these grinders to cut and grind stone, every day. They hold up to the abuse that other brands can't. We wouldn't use anything else.

Don't buy this grinder!
I ordered two of these angle grinders. Both of them had faulty trigger switches. It doesn't even deserve one star.
