Windows 11 built-in driver does not work, you must do a windows update after plugging in
I have 2gb fiber, so i picked this up for my windows laptop (HP Omen)When i plugged it in, it seem to auto install properly, however, i was getting 15mb down, 500 up. I went to the sabrent website to try and find a driver, but the link was a dead link (as other reviewers mentioned). So i was about to pack it up and send it back, then i saw on another product someone mentioned in a review they needed to do a windows update. so i tried it.Sure enough, windows update found an updated Realtek driver and installed itNow i get ~ 2100/2100 like I expected. So if you get really bad throughput when you plug it in, go to windows update. you will need the updated driver. Now it works perfectly and super fast.

Simple and works as advertised
Recently upgraded to COX 2gig service. My internal network already at 2.5GbE unfortunately my HP Omen PC built in card only runs at 100mbits/10GbE so it will not run 2.5GbE.. This is a simple solution and I am getting full use of my network speed. Running Windows 11. All updates etc are installed.

Works great. Fast ethernet!
My Proxmox cluster nodes are using these. They work great and I can tell there is a speed increase over the built in gigabit that I had.

Failed after 4 weeks.
After about 4 weeks of use this device started to freeze and network connection is subsequently loss. Updated to latest driver without resolution. Contacted support and they said "Please note that the adapter itself doesn’t have the ability to cause this." This is trash. If a network adapter loses network connection everytime I try to transfer a file then what else can cause it. On the same machine, its native NIC works fine and I also used a CableMatter 2.5g adapter and it works flawlessly. Don't buy simply because Sabrent won't take responsibility for its faulty product.

Terrific option that saved me money and sped up my connection!
Works great, terrific price. I was able to use my Dell port replicator that only goes to 1GBps ethernet so I am happy!

Works good, but make sure you have the most current network drivers
Recently updated to 2 gig internet and my motherboard ethernet couldn't go past 1 gig. Setting up was pretty easy, but make sure you download the most recent network drivers. Just ran a speedtest and I'm pulling 1880 right now... and that's with streams running in the background.

Lenovo P16 Gen2 USB C 3.2 Issue
I have given this Sargent 5G Ethernet adapter every chance to work using the USB C 3.2 port on my Lenovo P16 Gen2 laptop but it just isn’t happening. It’s pretty rock solid I’m one of my Thunderbolt 4 ports but I need both Thunderbolt ports for monitors. I contacted Sabrent tech support (a short hold time for live support I was pretty impressed), however the tech was just a screen reader, didn’t help much at all, but was polite. He did inform me that there is no firmware update needed or available. The adapter is solidly built, short cable seemed very well put together. But I’ll be sending it back. I’ll go ahead and get the Lenovo 2.5G adapter vs getting a 2.5G Sabrent. I was able to verify compatibility on the Lenovo site. 2.5G will be sufficient for my needs. I always try to get my network stuff with a little headroom vs maxxed out. Maybe Sabrent will weigh in with some words of wisdom. I did give it 3 stars even though I’m returning it. USB C 3.2 should power this little adapter with ease.

Works great for my Unraid setup and MBP.
I got this along with a 2.5 gbe card to connect my Unraid tower to my MacBook Pro. It seems to work flawlessly.
