Mystic Mondays Tarot: A Deck for the Modern Mystic (Tarot Cards and Guidebook Set, Card Game Gifts, Arcana Tarot Card Set)

first and foremost, let me just mention that before i delve into my tarot journey, this deck had always caught my eye, but i never actually bought it and had ended up buying other ones. this was about 8 months ago, this deck came up again, someone was using it during a live and i thought. "damn, these are gorgeous cards." she mentioned it to be this specific deck and i said? 'wait wtf, this was the deck i was thinking of getting' but for whatever reason i didn't get it is beyond me. needless to say, i cannot express how much i absolutely adore this deck. don't get me wrong, there are so many other beautiful tarot decks and i had to go through a few to realize that i didn't need a $50+ deck, this one, for the price? is such a win for me. i felt instantly connected with this deck, no joke. i have never been able to fully go through all 78 cards of a deck, simply just admiring the artwork, but this one went by with a breeze. i adore the artwork so much, i love the vibe it gives off. it's simplistic yet the splashes of color gives it life. not to mention that the guidebook is legit perfect, small but still carries enough information. (there are no sample spreads, i would like to mention, but that's no problem for me) i can take this baby anywhere with me and i surely will. honestly if you have been looking for a deck to start out, i would highly recommend this one. especially if you're not worried about having enough illustration on the card to learn its meanings. the guidebook pretty much spits out anything necessary you need to understand the cards. honestly this deck is well thought out and made with utmost love and care. i can feel it, the energy is amazing and i cannot wait to practice with these and continue on with my journey with it. also i'd like to mention in comparison to the other reviews here about the quality, etc that not every product is going to be 100% perfect. to me, i really don't mind the little damages or how it's a complete rip off. these shuffle super well, although the cards were stuck together, it's not hard to pull them apart and keep the quality intact. i honestly think the quality of the card stock is amazing. it's a glossy image but nothing extremely reflective which is a bonus to me, the holographic foil for the edges is icing on the cake. i'd give this product more than 5 stars if i could. i hope this review helps you decide whether it's a right deck for you or not. <: blessed be 🖤

I don’t know about you, but since I started reading tarot in 1994, I was on the eternal search for my *perfect* deck. So of course I’ve collected a boatload of decks over the years. I wound up using the pocket RWS by default and finally wore the crap out of the poor thing. So much so that my poor ancient cards are bent, curved, frayed, and sticking together. Yet it read well for me all the while I still searched for the “perfect” deck. In the past month (!) two decks came to my attention, which was a small miracle since I hadn’t looked at tarot cards in years. One of the decks was the Mystic Mondays Tarot. What a beautiful, positive deck! The card stock is sturdy and has a great, glossy hand feel. Beautiful, secure packaging. I love the silver/holographic edges. Yes, I did have to very gently pry a few cards apart, but no big. I’d had gilded decks before with the same issue. Also, I no longer riffle shuffle, as I have arthritis, tremors, and stiffness in my hands. I overhand shuffle, which is easier both on the cards and my hands. On my first read, Mystic Mondays practically shouted and turned cartwheels that it was indeed *my* deck. Talk about being hit over the head with a deck of cards. I had to blink. This had never happened to me before. I do find these cards gorgeous. The artwork is inspired. The use of color is genius. I adore the feminist sensibility. Though at first glance this seems to be a really happy and positive deck, it does *not* shy away from giving you the truth and telling it to you straight, which I appreciate. (After all these years, yes, I still need to be clocked in the head sometimes.) No cute little fluffy bunnies here. My main concern was that my intuition has been so out of whack for years I had trouble interpreting some of the cards. I was so indoctrinated in RWS images, and even Thoth images. That bit of advice on the inside cover of the box—“Trust Your Intuition”—was a clarion call for me. My readings from the MM tarot told me that it was indeed *my* deck, and all I needed was my intuition, my years of tarot education and reading, and *practice, practice, practice.* I do have to say that my readings with MM have been truly helpful, humbling, and accurate. And I adore the app! Mystic Mondays on your phone with you! If this deck resonates with you, please do not hesitate to buy. I was initially insecure because of what I felt was lack of enough imagery, but the numbers, the positions, the colors, the pictures themselves—all strike a deep intuitive chord within me. I absolutely love the Mystic Mondays Tarot deck! The artwork is stunning and modern, making it perfect for the modern mystics out there. I love this deck a ton!! I did have a few issues with it but overall it’s amazing. The art is super vibrant and just so gorgeous. The edges of the cards and parts of the box have a holographic sheen? Which I didn’t know before buying the deck but as soon as I saw I almost died because it’s my favorite thing ever. Though when I opened the box, there were some small dents on corners of the box, (nothing too bad) and there was some type of cardboard tape looking stuff on a part of the box which came off nicely. Then I got to the cards, which had some dirty residue (i’m assuming from the holographic finish on the edges) which I had to clean off of the art/card. Also these cards seem to stick together, but I think after I got them cleaned (with a dry kleenex) they seemed not to stick as bad or at all. Honestly I love these cards, they are gorgeous, and also the guidebook that goes along with the cards is really nice, and it’s made amazing. Overall I love the concept of the cards even though they needed a bit of work before using them properly. It was an amazing purchase and I’m happy I decided to get them, and work with them.

Great quality affordable cards. I looove her Cosmic Creatures deck for the vibrant colors and artwork style, and I love these just as much- maybe more because of the glossiness. First deck I haven’t had to “break in” (I think because of the glossiness.) First deck I received I had to return because some of the cards had splotches on them like un-glossed spots. But that’s the manufacturers fault, not Grace’s, and the 2nd deck was better. I absolutely LOVE the little black book having a page each for upright and reversed and being in color. For the price you cannot beat it!! Just saw earlier this week she has a Tarot journal that came out the end of last year- it’s hardcover and pairs perfectly with this deck. Highly recommend that as well!! I had to unstick a couple of cards, but I actually enjoyed that- I get a moon planner from Goddess Provisions every year and their page ends are gilded in holo too- I love sitting there and separating the pages. To me it’s like the satisfaction you get peeling off the clear film on a brand new phone lol. Must be something with holo. (Huge fan of holo.) Lastly, at first I didn’t think I wanted a deck with a few pip cards in the minors. Well, I was wrong! The pip cards have helped me memorize keywords- I found out I was relying on imagery too much, mostly RWS imagery. I was memorizing the imagery and not the name of the cards themselves. So thankful I chose these cards to elevate my learning of the Tarot. Overall: 5 stars for this deck, her Cosmic Creatures Oracle deck, and her Tarot journal! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It takes a lot to impress me and I have to say, quite loudly in fact, "I am amazed!!". Got my cards yesterday after excitedly waiting, trying my best to be patient even though I repeatedly checked the tracking on my order once it shipped oh I would say every few hours! To say this deck spoke to me would be an understatement, it yelled at me "Oh oh, pick me, pick me!! 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️"! As soon as the shipping box was placed in my hot little hands I knew I was home. The vibrations from this deck were (and still are) intense but comforting and positive, even through the cardboard shipping box and protective packaging pillows. First let me say that after reading reviews that spoke of weird smells, damaged cards, flaking of edging, cards sticking together, etc etc etc, I was momentarily hesitant. But only momentarily. I ordered anyway and crossed my fingers. Let's just say the publisher must be reading these reviews and making appropriate changes, or I am blessed, because what I received is truly a beautiful work of art. All the colors are "firm", the card stock is good quality, no cards were damaged, no cards were clumped or stuck together (they are actually quite slick in feel which may take some getting used to when shuffling), not one tiny minuscule flake of the holographic edging so far, the book is of nice quality with a good firm binding and quality printing.......do I really need to go on or are ya "feelin' me"? I couldn't be happier!! The deck is larger than I am used to which will take some patience when handling but the quality of this deck offsets this. The beautiful "minimalistic" artistry is refreshing and calming at the same time. I am hypersensitive so "busy" artwork on card decks make them difficult for me, so this deck has a huge plus going for it in my opinion. The descriptions of each card and their interpretations in the book are more "modern and relatable" than most decks I have experienced, and I honestly believe this is part of the reason they speak so loudly to me, which in turn makes my readings more effective and "definite". The positivity of the interpretations, even on reversed cards, is amazing and vibrational in and of itself. I have finally found my "go-to" forever deck! Honestly there is not one truly negative thing I can say about this deck, so if you are hesitant to order my best advice is do it anyway. What's the worst thing that could happen? True, returns are a pain in the keister but the odds of getting the same quality deck I got are high and the price is worth it! To all the folks that had a hand in the design, creation, manufacturing and selling of this deck, I truly appreciate everything you have done with this. I am truly in awe! Keep up the good work, I look forward to more beautiful creations from you! You have made this eclectic very very happy!

These cards have been my go-to! Pros: -Holographic edges are absolutely stunning -Even though the holo is cool, the card art is what sold me on these. I'm a designer and illustrator myself, so seeing the craftsmanship of the art had me instantly captivated; the colors are vibrant and fun and the geometric lineless style mixed with gradients (as someone who's not terribly into gradients, I'm shocked at how well it works with the style and colors.) Grace Duong absolutely nailed the art in on these cards and is definitely on my radar as a designer now. -The actual make of the cards is all right! Each card is glossy and slides across one another easily. I use them lightly so I cannot attest to their durability, but they've held up to use and storage in their box since I've had them. The box is well made and fits into itself nicely. While the card backs no longer have holo foil, the box does, and it looks lovely. Neutral: -This is more personal, but I find myself rarely using the actual descriptions from the guidebook because of how it's written. Its tone of voice is a lot more down to earth than most other decks and really meshes well with the instagrammable sort of vibe that this deck gives off, but sometimes it feels too exemplary, or that it doesn't leave space for interperetation. I'll usually peek at the keywords and then look it up online if I need more information. Cons: -On the original run, the card backs were made with holographic foil, which changed depending on the way light hit it. In this version, the foil has been replaced by a gradient. This would not be a problem, however because the gradient is NOT symmetrical, you can tell the way a card is facing by the orientation of the gradient. This makes picking cards a bit of a pain; depending on how me or the people I'm reading for do it. Overall, despite the one design flaw I still think this deck is absolutely worth it. Grace did some amazing work with this tarot deck, and I'm excited to see what else she'll do in the future! I hope they decide to switch to either a solid color back or a symmetrical gradient in the future, because then this deck will be flawless.

TL;DR I really like this deck and it's a nice quality. No major issues after some moderate use. I have been looking at the deck for like a year trying to decide if I should buy it or not. There is an app (at least on Apple) that lets you pull on card a day and read descriptions of the deck. The descriptions in the app are identical to the little booklet that comes with the deck, so I'd say check that out first if you're wondering it that would be useful to you. This deck has a little bit of a plasticy feel, which I like because it makes the cards feel sturdy. This does cause them to stick together quite a bit when first used, though. When I opened the deck, I spent a few minutes just separating the cards, bending them a little bit. I have not had any issues with the cards sticking together since that, and that's a pretty common issue for an new deck of cards. They do NOT stick together for me. These cards are just so stinking pretty! I was worried about the holographic edging flaking off because that seemed to be an issue in other reviews, but that hasn't happened to me. There are a couple of nicks in the edging of my cards, but it's super minimal and I think it looks pretty normal for any used deck.

Vraiment un tarot unique et magnifique. Il était en version auto-édité et la en mass market il est aussi beau et quelle qualité! La boite déjà magnifique et solide avec de beaux reflets multicolores. Les cartes d'une qualité extra, épaisses, qui glissent très bien, avec la tranche argentée aux reflets multicolores et les illustrations colorées, pleins de joie et de lumière et superbes. Vraiment un jeu d'une qualité rare et plein de gaieté , très facile à comprendre , il y a également un beau petit livret avec deux pages par cartes tout en couleur sur papier glacé. Une vraie merveille!

Really loved this artwork and was drawn to the art. They shuffle brilliantly and the messages in the guide book are great too. I really love using this deck and shuffling them. Their energy feels beautiful

Beautiful simple graphical cards. Shiny coating and silver edging. Very happy with this positive vibrant set. Makes a change from the maximalist or dark illustrations usually sold.
